I was and addict. Clean for 15 years. I quit cold turkey - no rehab. But yeah, it was hell - not everyone can do it. Some people do need help. It varies from person to person - and you actually have to want to quit. If you don't want to quit - no amount of rehab or intervention will help.

Yup, 💯. I was on methadone for 5 years to get off of opioids. Saved my life and people tried to say I wasn’t sober during that time. 🙄 It was medically prescribed and monitored, had to take monthly drug tests to be on the program and go to counseling. That’s what worked for me. Haven’t touched opioids since I detoxed off methadone a decade ago.
Nick has 2 habits maybe more , his alcholism is full blown he drinks a quaet a day or more ,he would have seizures that could kill him if he went cold turkey.
The good thing about having a tiny gumba is that it retracts inside during a bad car wreck

I would have said the same or worse, but personally I love it. I think NASCAR and the Ark-M series formally Winston Cup and Busch series needs way more rivalries and way more fights/realistic feuds. I’ve found all the simulators are easier to lose traction than real life. I’ve only raced mustang Rs, but they have way more grip than simulators would suggest.
I always wondered what they smell like... Now I know!

Everyone is ok. The cars design, and Saftey features did exactly what they were supposed to do. You both walked away with no scratches or injuries driving 140mph coming to a very quick stop smacking together like pinballs. Fault or not that’s a victory. At the end of the day it’s only money lost which can be replaced.
There is no way Nick being a full blown addict could step away from the booze, he would be having seiizures. He ie cab't stop either cold turkey.
