Thanks Linda! the walls are probably less than half a centimeter. Just give it a try, you can do it! My new video about my tools has a demo in it with some more advice, thanks for watching!
Did you carve through the mug? And then you fix with a spray of water and let dry slowly? I’m always so scared to carve through my items and therefore they are heavy/ think walled.
Love the work and the combination of real time and fast forward works well. Would like to see the completed object glazed.

So is this leather hard green ware? Or softer than that?
Leather hard, on the stiffer end of leather hard so that the little bits come off cleanly
