I do binge watch your videos always, even videos I've already watched... Im working on the series of Autumn leaves you made, extremely useful! and love the way you explain... watch a lot of jazz channels but always come back to yours, I think it's unique... thanks for all your content!!!
Thanks for the reminder to put in the work. Binge watching maybe fun, but more progress comes, to quote Mel Brooks in Blazing Saddles, from “WORK Work Work Work Work !”
Hi Tony, great video. I can tell you how I like to approach this. I'll print out the lead sheet, and make notes while watching your video, ideas you drop in on scales, approaches, etc. And as you say, spend some time at the piano trying things. Appreciate the guidance!
Beaucoup de bonnes choses à chaque fois je vais suivre le conseil à la fin de cette vidéo, j’avais l’impression que vous me parliez. On sent que vous avez beaucoup à partager, merci énormément.
Great video as always Tony! I like to play around with the corresponding Mixolydian scale for each chord in blues sometimes. Can’t go wrong with the great blues scale though!
I think it's because Bill is not that specialized into bluesy scales nor likes them, you can hear it in his playing. He's more into Debussy, Chopin inspired playing resulting in jazz ballads stuff.

Very nice,,,love it,many thanks❤🎉😂
Ever think of doing "Valse hot"? Kind of nice little melody
Interesting that Miles used Wynton Kelly for the recording of this song on "Kind of Blue" and Bill Evans for the other tunes.
I heard it was because the band members didn't want some white boy playing the blues on the album lol
