@2:50 does anyone know what engines were on those Escorts? I know the old Kent engines where superb machines in their time but in this day and age of dohc/vvt/efi, one has to wonder what's going on under the hood of those Escorts.

The engine they all want is the 2500cc Millington Diamond, they’re approx £25k and if you search on TH-cam you’ll find all the best Mk2 escorts have them, they’re wicked fast.
