      @Abel Harbour Don't know where you are but there are a few in the UK and arent hard to import from SA. I have one, a couple of guys have 2! We had a little socially distanced get together last September....and some do, occasionally, come up for sale here.

    I wish we could get these in America. I love my wrangler's but they're just not built like these vehicles.

    • @whiskeyriver4322
      @whiskeyriver4322 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's disgusting that most of the vehicles, that people buy who need to go into the bush, almost all over the world, are not available in the U.S. And Jeep refuses to make anything close to a grand overland (unless you're a moron and think the Grand Cherokee Overland is it.). The closest they ever got was the Wrangler Africa concept car last year, which will never see the light of day; it was just a way to waste money and feed egos...... and still, no diesel options for a Wrangler. Of course there is ICON in California, if you have about 150K+ to blow.

    • @stevenp3176
      @stevenp3176 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Agreed. I would pay for a wrangler that had a small diesel and a suspension capable of towing or having a decent payload capacity. Toyota and Land Rover have been doing it for years. American Expedition Vehicles will build you something for 65-130k and it still cannot do what these vehicles do out of the box.

    Wide tyres in the sand Andrew, why not skinnies?

    • @4xoverland
      @4xoverland  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      your point being? PS these are not wide tyres. They are big tyres (diameter) Diameter helps. Width does not.

    "Where else in the world can you just find a place, park your car and set up camp" Australia... We have a 25,000 Km coastline, 28 million hectares of national park and even more millions of hectares of crown land and you are aloud to free camp on most of it. If anyone want to visit, just let me know and I'll hold you a camping spot Lol...
