Thanks for making this! I had seen that gate on riverside was open on my ride home but hadnt had a chance to investigate. Good to see things moving in the right direction. Slow progress is still progress!

I guess it is quite off topic but does anybody know of a good website to watch newly released tv shows online?

It's April 2021- update: All bridges, except for the Taylor Bridge have been completed. Taylor bridge appears to be near completion. I see no progress on the LA River path extension north of the Riverside Dr/Zoo Dr. intersection, and no progress on the Bob Hope Bridge (which was fully funded many years ago). I see an article claiming that the Burbank Channel Bikeway Phase 2 should've been completed in February 2021 (need to go check it out to see if its true. I'll probably die an old man before The LA River extension, San Fernando Bikeway, Chandler Bikeway extension, and Glendale Portion of the Burbank Channel Bikeway are completed and all connected!

I've ridden by and I think I've seen it open from time to time, but they typically don't take care of the path until May after their rain season.

The bike path is open as of March 2020. There is a detour where they are building the Taylor Yard bridge that is mentioned in the video (Elysian Valley section?) but the gates are usually open and the construction site can be easily navigated during the weekends. The lightning bolt looking bridge north of Los Feliz Blvd. was opened and then closed almost immediately due to a horse death while crossing. The pedestrian half of the bridge is supposed to reopen but it has been over a month since it closed. The Red Car bridge at Glendale Blvd. has opened. Basically, you can ride it all the way form Victory Blvd. in Burbank to Figueroa St.

Thanks for the information, man. I really appreciate it. Not trying to be a jerk, but please don't put music on when you are talking. It makes it hard to hear the important stuff you're saying.
