People nicking stuff from tents is uncommon, I mean don't be silly and leave it open and stuff, but it's not as big a deal as people say. And the people that do break into tents will usually leave stuff like that. The one time its happened to me they stole my friends watch and trainers. Even if you're unlucky enough to have it happen to, your supplies should be okay :) And yeah you'll have less space to deal with,. but they don't open all the camps at the same time specifically so people on Thursday can still find a space, but be warned you won't have wide open spaces to choose from haha

+Patrick Ransom Yeah pretty much, by Thursday evening its gonna be pretty difficult to get in there. From what I remember they open Blue first, then as it gets filled they open the other campsites and start directing people too those instead so it fills out evenly. Thats the theory anyway.

Additional advice I can give. If you want to wear contact lenses instead of your glasses, use daily disposables instead. They're pretty cheap and you can store your glasses in your bumbag during the time. :D
dude i wish we'd seen this before it, but we was in staff camping in the middle of the race track, we shared a pop up tent, it drowned, so i crashed in the communal tent the rest of the time... i was the ale man at dog bar 3, crap job pouring dog tooth all day so we called it dog breath and when of and saw so good bands (video uploaded later)..
other then the camp being under the flight path, not bad, clean(er) loo's, hot showers.. dog tooth, you didn't miss out mate, we all called it dog breath... it the truth is it wasn't dog tooth, it was meant to be otter ale, but the wrong shipment meant we were selling otter bitter.... hope you didn't pitch your tent in the deep end? apparently pink camp turned into a stream...

+Robert J Palmer I suggest you google it. But it may not necessarily appeal to you. Momentum is host at a very posh show ground and the main acts perform in a massive tent/showroom that is carpeted.

who else went last week? the security was bloody awful no bags checked or anything! dont get me wrong it was amazing but anything could of happened due to security
were you there for 5 days? yeah security was so bad got to the gate and he just asked if there was any glass and after we said no he just let us on through and going back and too from the co op we never got asked to show our wristbands.. also did anything bad happen at blue camp in black we heard people got held at knife point
Hell yeah 5 days! :D Yeah they just asked if I had any cans and let me through. Not very professional. I heard about that,. but I thought that was in Arena? Didn't see anything bad in Blue, and the people I met were sound
i missed out on 5 days because i went to see acdc in manchester on the thursday... hmmm dunno then probably just rumours! i miss it so much already haha

When you first get to the site? If you're on your own and carrying it I think they do, yes. I'm not sure I've ever seen it happen but they must do
