For premium, reliable micrometers and calipers I would recommend mitutoyo. For about $150-$200 each the aren't that expensive but will give you accurate measurements for decades, usually. Even for $100 each you can pick up some quality mitutoyo tools.

@@TheCrazyRomanian Hey bro, 4 months in. How is it still? Also maybe the feeler gauges were slightly heat expanded by your finger heat/environment. Or the carbide tips on the micrometers got abit of dust/dirt/oil on it
