Monja is a love song written and recorded by "Cry'n Strings" in 1967, a band from Hauenstein in Germany. The guitarist Gerhard Jäger composed the song. When a cover with the dj Roland Wächtler was released, the song became a big hit in many European countries. Later, more covers have been released, among them the Swedish pop-singer and playboy Peter Holm’s version. My instrumental is based on Peter Holm’s version.
