I think a lot of peoples issues with learning is not that it's hard to do but more so most people don't explain what they do to practice... they just shoe the move and then that's it instead of explaining their routine for practicing.. I am a person who likes to have things I can practice in steps to end up doing the move the best way I possibly can ❤️ your one of the few that actually explains im detail what to practice.. daniel madison does this very well also he always explains what he did to practice and get his hands and fingers to do what he needs 😀
This is brilliant! We all do the double lift or whatever flavour of pass we like, to get the card to the top. This top change makes it happen right under their noses. I like the shrug of the shoulders action you spoke about Xavior. :D
Like Winston Churchill ! I just started using it to replace a palm in a trick outta Bill Tarr’s Book . Imagine 11 year old me trying to palm a plastic coated card . Took me years, no more of that shit. Improves the timing of the trick as well.
I'm working on adapting Ace, Deus, Tres from Spideys channel but using three top changes in a row rather than the 3 double lifts. When I've done it seemlessly it looks so clean as you can take out the ace, 2 and 3 out at the start and leave them face up on the table while the spectator picks a card. Control to top then top change the 3 cards on the table in the action of turning them over. The rest is as spidery teaches.
I’ve been doing a second deal as my go to for a “top change”. I’m a super newb to magic so I’m still nervous for the most part. I like this if I could be more casual with it but do you think it’s ok to use a second deal in this situation. For the most part it’s really similar but there’s a pause in time in between when I put the selected card on top and then deal out the second card to replace the selected card. I’ll conversant as I’m gesturing my hands and do the change/second deal. Any advice would be appreciated.
I knew this move for an eternity now, and I rather do a double lift than this, but not because it is crap... I am just bloody scared to do it XD Never done it to people. XD So awkward, I feel awkward before I want to do it and chicken out XD
Try it, its totally worth it, you'd be surprised how badly you can perform the change and still get away with it. Also, it's okay get caught, not the end of the world.
@@ethannewnham2327 in reloaded he talks about it and everything you should know about how to get away with it Or in one of his lecture he also talks about that XD
This is making me feel things inside
Hi Piggy!
I wanna feel what's inside you Mr. Cake
You make me feel things inside, mainly in my bowels... and I like it.
PigCake you’re not alone piggy 🤤🤤😂
I got a pig shirt🐷🐖
I do this with misdirection by calling the name of the spectator then when they look up I do the move and it's perfect.. Love this move...
u just saved me

The Double Lift is a overused sleight is it better to use Sometimes a top Change instead a Double Lift ???
Xavior you are awesome man. Great magician(the best in the universe) with great taste of humor. Keep up the good work!
Thx for this I had always heard of this move but didn't know what it was so thx for teaching it 👍👍👍

"You're going to get caught." Yup.
I love watching David Williamson perform just to see him do the top change...gives me the heebiegeebies
I like the way u say Layman don't understand anything...... 😂😂

Most under-used sleight🤙🏼
Yo! Any chance you got footage of Garcia's TC at MagiFest? So pretty I forgot a step or something... Or I'm not him.
Another great tool to practise ! Thanks Xav 😉....or should I thank Winston Churchill ? 🤔 Greetings from France !
Love from Bangladesh....
The royal road says to move laterally as you do it , never liked it
Mr Williamson's shrug is brilliant .
Mr Spade's subtleties make it deadly
Winston Churchill invented the internet.
Heyyy I'm early today. Both Chris's channel and yours😂😂

The best magician doing the top change is Dani Daortiz. He teaches you how to do this move whithout flashing.
Where does he teach it?
