Holy smokes! Who knew Mr. Big was so revered in Japan? I definitely need to dig into Richie Kotzen's discography some more. His recent Smith-Kotzen album is really solid. Keep the videos comin'...
Wow I can’t believe I forgot to mention Smith/Kotzen! Super great album. There have so much product even now after being doing with the video I keep finding albums I forgot about.
Their success in Japan is often referred to, to the point that the band have often been at pains to point out that they did well in other territories too! In the mid-nineties, they were outselling Pearl Jam 40 to 1 in Japan!
Nice collection, need to go and find some more find some more for my collection, but don't forget Billy's days and albums with Talas, and excellent band.
Fantastic run through what is one of my all time favourite bands. Brilliant live act and I saw their final ever gig before Pat passed away. Anyhow one album you might want to get, “Influences & connections, Volume One: Me Big”. Collecting their EPs is a challenge but worth it for the bonus tracks. Though I can’t bring myself to buy the new Mr Big Revive box set as it goes for nearly £250 on Amazon Uk! Keep up the good work!
I picked up The Vault for about $150 off Amazon Marketplace. Great deal for a 20 CD Boxset. If you’re not familiar with the boxset, see link for review & unboxing th-cam.com/video/kIMi60qv0HA/w-d-xo.html But regarding Revive Boxset, for me I just don’t need that Mach duplication from one tour. One live album per tour is enough.
Wow that was some collection. I probably own about twenty of those cds. Definitely need to check out some of these others you talked about. Thanks for this. *Winery Dogs is an amazing band to see live! Never got the chance to catch Mr Big in concert though.
Yeah there is so much to dive into for this band. No matter which aspect of the music you like more, there is always something to explore in that vein. I’m dee into the new Paul Gilbert at the moment and really enjoying it.
@@BrendonSnyder Great to hear you're digging the new Paul GIlbert. I love his playing on everything I've heard, Mr Big, Racer X, G3, youtube vids etc. I have yet to pick up one of his solo efforts. Definitely will get his latest. Thanks again!
Mr Big / Saraya at Baltimore's legendary Hammerjacks. One of my favorite shows ever! Mr Big was touring for Lean Into It. The place was absolutely bonkers. Also got to see them open twice for Rush. If I only had a time machine... That's a crazy Mr Big related collection. TMG is a great album. And you didn't forget about Racer X lol. Some of those Ritchie Kotzen solo albums are getting expensive.
Amazing collection. I’ve been a huge Mr. Big fan from the first album on. One of these days I need to pick up some of those Japanese only releases. In the mix of all those albums somehow you missed Talas. I know you must have some of those. If you don’t I highly recommend them.
Great Brendon - I'm a Mr. Big geek. The Vault looks good on my shelf too. Glad you mentioned that you have the first two Raw Like Sushi releases - they are great. They are "still together" in the sense that they haven't called it a day, but there are no plans for any future activity as of yet. They have said that they may do something in the future. Matt Starr is not a full time member and may or may not be involved again. I thought he did a great job. King Of Clubs was PG's first, not second solo album. Thanks again - I would like this video 100 times if I could.
No need to post corrections. Plus if you read the titles during the video you’d have seen I corrected myself already on thinks like King Of Clubs being his first solo album and some incorrect dates. Trying to remember facts on 80 albums is a lot. Regarding Matt, as far as I’m concerned he’s a member. He’s listed on the album credits, he is photographed with the band, and appeared on multiple albums. Billy has repeatedly said the band “still exists”. Give them time and they will make another album and tour.
I’ve got many of these, too. I was waiting for the Raw Like Sushi releases to show up in your review. Those are great! Pat Torpey was also part of Stan Bush and Barrage, playing on that album from 1987.
Great video, Brendon. Lol when saw title on new post last night (watching this a.m. before work) as just listened to Paul Gilbert-I Can Destroy two days ago. Japanese market is strange as seem to adore bands U.S. market seems to forgotten about, i.e. Michael Schenker for example. Thanks bud. 👍
It is interesting how a band can be really big in one territory and not at all in another. Or how a band can be huge in a country that is not their homeland. But I’m glad that Mr. Big still had a place they’re genuinely “BIG” in!
Thanks Brendon, that looked tiring! I just have their albums up to Hey Man ( their covers for that and bump ahead always make me smile). Do have a lot of the Paul Gilbert albums, the Racer X stuff, Sons of Apollo, Portnoy Sheehan Macalpine Sherinian, DLR, Impelliteri (I'm a big Graham Bonnet fan), Black Swan and Niacin ( so called because John Novello plays a B3 Hammond and vitamin B3 is also known as Niacin). Dont have any Richie Kotzen, incuding Winerry Dogs, though so will have to delve into his catalogue.
I forgot to show it in my collection but Richie Kotzen has a new album with Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden called simply Smith/Kotzen. See link for my review if you’re interested th-cam.com/video/cpnc6pZsIkI/w-d-xo.html
Wow, Richie Kotzen has an incredible output, it's really unbelievable. He released 50 for 50 a triple album with new stuff that's alone is awesome. I'm a huge fan since The Winery Dogs. Yep, it's truly an amazing supergroup with 3 so talented musicians. Richie's voice is awesome and of course his guitar playing too. I'm not that familiar with his many solo stuff, that blows your brain. For me Billy Sheehan is the technically best bass player and the fastet. Sometimes i think he is playing speed guitar with 4 arms. He gets a melody that is unrivaled. When Richie is 80 years old he is probably in the guiness book of records with most publications in his career, but no scrap underneath.
Yeah and my collection of Richie isn’t even complete he’s got so many other solo albums and projects he’s been involved in like Jazz Fusion. One of those very underrated under the radar musicians that when you hear cannot make heads or tails as to why he isn’t huge. Just like Glenn Hughes.
@@BrendonSnyder Brendon, i have listened to Embryo an unreleased album by Pink Floyd. Rael Nyc uploaded it on TH-cam. 10 songs with different versions, later parts of it became Mother Atom Heart and Meddle. Really excellent stuff. I have never heard it before. 👍👍

A tedious and fabulous list of albums by individual artists, I've been to a Mr. Big concert back in 2007 in my area, they were pretty tight. Good luck with your channel and by the way, I have a CD called ''Velocity - Impact'', Pat Torpey was a key member of the band besides David Victor, a prolific vocalist, an excellent album oriented rock album overall. Cheers from India!!!! 👍🏽👍🏽
I really liked this kind of video showing your collection from a band and related projects. Please show with more details these amazing boxes. If possible for the next videos please speak a little more slowly, I am from Brazil and I am practing english with your videos. Cheers!
Thanks for tuning in and I’m glad you’re enjoying these. This one was hard fitting 80 CD’s into a reasonable amount of time without going too long. On videos with less CD content I’ll show more on each one and be a little slower going through everything.
@@BrendonSnyder Thanks a lot for your quickly feedback. Yes, are much cds, when possible make a video showing just boxets in your collection, it’s gonna be so appreciated.
I’ve got over 500 videos on the channel including extensive reviews of lots of my Boxsets and so much more. Have a look through the videos and playlists where I’ve grouped similar style videos. I’m sure you’ll find more of what you’re looking for.
Saw Mr Big on Lean Into It tour drills and all,Still have Talas Sink Your Teeth album on vinyl from when it came out.Paul Gilbert i prefer from all of those virtuoso types Stone Pushing Uphill Man is a great album as is I Can Destroy.
You just mentioned 3 more albums I forgot to show. I love Paul’s Stone Pushing Uphill Man and the cover interpretations. Not as big of a fan when Paul sings as just his instrumental work.
Sorry but im a huge fan of the other Mr Big that did Romeo and the fantastic album,Photographic Smile..If you dont know it you should check it out. Very good band that do several styles..

Plenty of awesome music there!
Enough to keep me going for days!

I have never heard a MR BIG album, only the huge hit single . I think it is time i listened to to an album in full..
