Am I the only one who prefers ASMR in a language I don’t speak? Then I don’t have to think about the meanings of the words and can just focus on the sounds and tingles LOL
I would be fine with English ASMR if more of it were just talking about their day or something. I don't care for all these self-help positive affirmations.
I learned german for a friend her dad and mother is from german they moved here when she was 12 shes 25 now like me and she love it when I speak german with my deep country hick american accent lol
That's actually a bit sad. I learned fluent German before I even visited Germany for the first time, not to brag, but you know...you live somewhere and don't learn a language? Weird for me :/

As a German myself, I'm impressed that you can speak German *that* well. Usually (from my experience anyway) whenever native English speakers try their hands on German, they fail to learn it. But I guess living in Germany makes it much easier to learn the language than to learn it without actually needing to use the language. And I think that's where most people trying to learn a new language fail; not being able to use your knowledge will make you forget it easily. But I digress. Great video! @Ravenblood but there is a saying “in einem Luftschloss leben” so someone is living in an “air Castle” or in their daydreams/ their own imagination/ bubble. Though this saying can be slightly altered and said differently, “Luftschloss” means a place that isn’t real and made up from your own imagination thus it’s also called a daydream :)

I understood basically nothing she said in this whole video, like she could literally be throwing insults left, right and centre and we'd just be sat twiddling our thumbs 😂😂 Even though I speak around 3 words in German (danke, hallo and zitrone) this video was highly enjoyable and effectively calmed me down. If German was taught like this in schools we'd all be masters in no time 😂 How has she made it seem like such a calm, soothing language when it's usually angry shouts 😂💜💜
Im from germany and here are some examples how hard this language is.😅 Example: English German The Der The Die The Das Englisch: the tree German: der Baum English: the car German: das Auto So yeah its a really hard language but i think its cool too.

So I did a bit of German in school and the word for daydream is super interesting. For those not in the know it translates directly into "air castle." In Afrikaans, we have a phrase " hy bou lugkastele" (he's building castles in the sky), which means he's planning impossible things. The same phrase exists in English too, though its used fairly seldomly. It's fascinating how the Germanic languages are so closely linked, and how meaning changes over time.
Can you do like a whole water themed video? My favorite tingle is taking a spray bottle full of water that’s quiet and hearing the tiny light droplets hit and umbrella that’s above cover the mic!

(I just went on a deep dive to find the exact one I'm thinking of and it's definitely "ASMR Ear-to-Ear German Word Assortment (t/k)" from 5 years ago, though honestly I loved them all back then. Aaaand I just got super nostalgic.) I love listening to ASMR in different languages, because I can’t understand them. English whispering is more distracting and doesn’t help me relax, but this was awesome. Who knew German could be so relaxing!

I understood basically nothing she said in this whole video, like she could literally be throwing insults left, right and centre and we'd just be sat twiddling our thumbs 😂😂 Even though I speak around 3 words in German (danke, hallo and zitrone) this video was highly enjoyable and effectively calmed me down. If German was taught like this in schools we'd all be masters in no time 😂 How has she made it seem like such a calm, soothing language when it's usually angry shouts 😂💜💜

So I did a bit of German in school and the word for daydream is super interesting. For those not in the know it translates directly into "air castle." In Afrikaans, we have a phrase " hy bou lugkastele" (he's building castles in the sky), which means he's planning impossible things. The same phrase exists in English too, though its used fairly seldomly. It's fascinating how the Germanic languages are so closely linked, and how meaning changes over time.
As a swede I can guess most words because of the close proximity to our words, soo cool 😍 very tingly video indeed

Can you do like a whole water themed video? My favorite tingle is taking a spray bottle full of water that’s quiet and hearing the tiny light droplets hit and umbrella that’s above cover the mic!
