OMFG! 1:18:40 time mark, line three David Dempster!!! That was me aged 12. I recall it so clearly over the years still. Never ever thought I'd see it for real aged 55. Just searched for blake 7 swap shop and here it is. Little did I know at the time, that Jacqueline lived about 5 miles away in West Byfleet. I was in Addlestone. Thank you so very much for uploading this! I'm indebted to you!!!!
Wow!! This was brilliant!! Especially that reference to the space ship leaving Earth to travel for thousands of years. I’m a 70s child so i used to watch swap shop and skippy the kangaroo every Saturday morning. We also had a big chunky green telephone in our hall way at home similar to the ones in this clip. I loved Blake 7 seven back in the day and great soundtrack. I think it was on television on Sunday night after A Question of Sport. We only had 3 TV channels back then. What a great childhood we had in the 70s and 80s. Thank you very much for sharing!
Blake and his arch-enemy Servalan on swap shop is awesome I met them both in real life at various conventions it is a shame Gareth and Jackie are gone from this universe as are Gan Avon Zen Orac and Slave I imagine they are reunited in the place where they have gone to I shall miss them and never forget them
You are so lucky in meeting Gareth and Jacqueline. I was a childhood fan in the very late 70s. I got my nephew into the series in tge 1990s. He loved it! There was something very special about the show.
the lovely Jaqueline pierce aka servalan ! i used to rush in and watch this after the late shift! terrible effects but a great story that needs retelling with some money thrown at it but please not a hollywood one .
@@mosheridan7016 and today's youth will say the same. Just as when Blake's 7 aired people said their TV from the 50s was best. As I said , don't be that person.

You're most welcome - it must be great to see it after all this time, glad you found it!
Thankyou Gareth and Jaqui for many wonderful childhood memories. RIP.

Yes! Brilliant sci-fi and great soundtrack and story line. Loved the Blake 7 classic inter galactic space ship!
I actually remember this episode of Swop Shop. And I loved Blake 7
2 legends and citizen edmonds
Miss you Servelan
Servalan was and always will be the best ever female arch-enemy in sci-fi she is alegend and unbeatable
@@Eltonlaleham Absolutely Sir.Absolutely .Thank You.
love it but wish Jacqui had been asked more questions too!
I really hope that physics would be able to support us in the near future in covering vast distances of our galaxy as Servelan did.
a Liberator bracelet and Travis's eyepatch as a prize? I wonder if the winner still has them
Yeah, Wow, Great Prizes, i would have been Chuffed to have won those when i was 8 and a half... ; )
These will be priceless now.
Wow!! What a prize I hope they looked after those prizes. That’s a nice prize to give to a child to treasure and especially for a Sci-fi fan.
god bless Jacqueline pierce she did not mind not a lot of questions came to her. Also that welch lad was really cheeky
Where did Blake get his mid-season haircut ? Assuming series 2 was recorded out of broadcast order.

And to think there are morans out there who preferred TISWAS...
When tv was tv
TV is always TV. We always think the TV from our own youth is best, just as kids today do. Don't be that person.
@@MD-fu6ly But it was

When it wasn’t the radio lol 😂
Exactly!! Even the adverts back in the 70s and 80s were more entertaining than the programs we have now.
