    You know Skylite I have something to tell you. When pushing back from the gate. That American Airlines Airbus A321-231 N916US on the right that's the same plane I rode on to Philadelphia, PA From Phoenix, AZ on the 26th of July of 2021.

    CLT has become one of my favourite airports to fly in and out of. Although it may not be the newest most modern looking facility, there's something about the layout and the vibe that I just love. Passed through CLT 4 times in 2022. Absolutely love that American runs two-three flights a day from YUL on A319's. Most of our US flights out of YUL are on Reg. Jets. Great video as always.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The A319 to Canada is definitely a good upgrade. Most of my flights to and from Canada, as you mentioned, have been on regional jets. That said, it would seem me a you have vastly different opinions on CLT as it's one of my least favorite airports in the country 😂. And my reasoning for not liking it seems to be the same reason you love it haha. That's okay though, we can still get along haha. Thanks for watching my friend!

    Good old XNA, my home base. I have never been to Charlotte so it was cool to see a bit of the airport there as well. Not critiquing the videos at all, but is it possible to take a quick snapshot of the terminal map in some of these larger airports, sort of give us an idea of the terminal layout and what sort of stores they have? I think it would add a unique perspective that no other content creator similar to you does.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I will look into that and see what I can do. Most of them do have maps all over the place. I never thought of that.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว

      The list is far too long at this point to go into there. That is why I have a my.flightradar page where you can go and see all kinds of statistics about who, what, when, and where I've flown. You can find the link here: my.flightradar24.com/sla31/
      In total, I've flown 48 different airlines since 2010, which is when I started keeping track. I've had 867 flights in that time. I really appreciate you watching my friend. Thanks so much for your support. I hope you find that link interesting! You can sort by year to see more detailed info.

    Damn little squirrely on landing as the pilot got close to the runway edge there at 1:57:14

    • @sla31

      I'll be honest. Having flown into XNA many times as it's one of my home airpots, I knew there aren't any high speed exits. So in the moment, I wasn't sure what was going on. I thought maybe a reverse wasn't working or a brake was giving them problems. The plane turned and left XNA not long after, so I doubt it was mechanical otherwise it would've taken a longer delay. Thanks for watching my friend!

    • @AsNetwork
      @AsNetwork ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sla31it’s possible a reverser was MEL’d (I’ve flown planes with inop reversers before), but that would’ve made the directional control more of an issue once it was deployed instead of being stowed like it happened here. Most probably it could’ve just been a crosswind or something before the pilots put it back on centerline.

  • @keepthefaith-theconcerttribute
    @keepthefaith-theconcerttribute ปีที่แล้ว +1

    drifted way off the centerline on deceleration there. Thought it was a highspeed exit.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว

      They did indeed. And having been to XNA many times, I knew there wasn't any high speed taxi exits, so I was really wondering what was going on haha.

      Massive drift on the runway!

    • @sla31
      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว

      There was indeed a large drift on the runway. There was a moment that I wondered if a brake or reverser malfunctioned, but the plane left back for CLT pretty much on time and it wouldn’t have if it had a problem like that.

      Those old A320's do make a lot of mechanical noises. The clunking sound has something to do with the brakes/parking brake. Thanks for watching my friend!

      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that was a bit interesting. And I’ll be honest. It was a bit more sudden and iffy in person than the video makes it appear. I’m not trying to bash the pilots here, but I thought for a second we were going into the grass. I thought maybe a brake or reverser malfunctioned. It was very interesting and we’ll likely never know exactly what the deal was. Either way, we all for there safely. Thanks for watching everyone!

      @@jonathanstarling1082 yup. Bentonville may even be the best connected regional airport in the country. With daily flights to almost every major market in the US thanks to Walmart being headquartered there.

  • @cpcva724

    I suppose Walmart runs the Bentonville airport.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty much haha. I mean, I've never seen anything concrete on any of it, but I've heard through the grapevine that Walmart basically says they want a flight, and someone will start it. There's a reason why a small airport in Arkansas has service to DCA, LGA, LAX, PHL, MIA, DFW, ATL, DEN, IAH, and many others. XNA has far better options than larger airports and areas like Tulsa, and it's all thanks to Walmart.
