What is it you are spraying on the egg while you are sanding, if you don’t mind me asking? I am sure it isn’t something I can get here in the States. Beautiful work by the way. @@DungeonBricks Wow, I didn’t know that isopropyl alcohol came in purple! Interesting. I was curious because I want to make my wife a nice pen that she can use at work and I found a pen blank at a store that is a mix of maple burl and teal acrylic that I think she will like. I wanted to finish it as shiny as possible and I got a box of padded sanding pads that are very fine grit so I thought that would do the trick. Watching him makes me think I will need to clean the sanding material off in between pads. Thank you for your response.

My guess is isopropyl alcohol to smooth out the sanded surface of the resin. Later applying oil to seal everything.
