    Vancouver is heaven on earth and my heart is buried in Stanley Park. Such wonderful memories! I used to walk a lot along the sea wall and do shopping in Grandville Island💖💖God bless Canada and all its beautiful and amazing people. Thanks for a great and enjoyable video👍👍👍👍

      I just got done watching someone else's bike ride thru stanley park and that set. me. OFF. to coming and moving to Vancouver. OOOOHHH my God. I used to always hear how BEAUTIFUL and diverse Vancouver is and have been curious and I stumbled upon the video and now this so I am HOOKED. I COMPLETELY see why so many people love it there. WOW!!

    Great video bringing back great memories. Back in the 70s we would smoke a couple of joints and walk around the seawall and the rest of the park, ending up at one of the beaches for a swim. Good times. :)

    You're one tall, fast walking, and an informative son of a gun. This route takes us slow strollers, my wife and I, a minimum of 4 hours to cover on foot. Great job capturing this gorgeous walk in half the time :-)

The rainy season is from November to March, mostly misty rain and drizzle, not heavy downpours although of course there are some downpours, but not mostly. And in winter the average temperature is mild at plus degrees. There is no month in the calendar where the average temperature is minus degrees, unlike the east coast and alberta that have multiple months of freezing minus degree average temperatures. ;- )

      @ProWalks  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ProWalks What wizardry is this! 57GB!? what effect does the bitrate have?

    • @ProWalks
      @ProWalks  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well...the video was recorded at an original bitrate of 65mbps. When I export on Premiere, I like to choose a high bitrate since youtube is going to compress the file again...so I usually try for the original bitrate...in this case 65. I don't notice any loss of quality.

    I worked in the park for years. I was super excited to see you walk past the horse-drawn carriages but you got right up to the Rowing Club (where the horses are just around the corner) and then the video just jumped past them to the yacht club. Why no horse-drawn carriages?

    • @ProWalks

      Yeah, I'm sorry about that. There was an error with the file and I had to skip 8 minutes of the walk. Another video file got written in the camera with the same file name and wrote over the original file. Unfortunate, but not6i could do.

    Man, it's a wonderful park. You know folks, you could walk from the other side of those mountains in the back ground all the way to the north pole & easily never see another person. The interior of British Columbia in many places is really wild & beautiful. Anyhow, that's my guess. There are thought by many to be large humanoid creatures living there. They're called Sasquatch (Bigfoots) from the Salish word for Wild Men. And this not very far from Vancouver. (Be sure to take your camera along. The Sasquatch are shy & apparently have somewhat ambivalent feelings toward their human cousins. Don't take your dog with you. This because the dog will pursue the Sasquatch & then when it growls, your canine friend will come running straight back to you. There are rumors of kidnappings.) Those ships sitting off 3rd beach are waiting for dockage. Vancouver used to be 2nd only, in North America, to New York in gross tonnage handled. The ships were paid $6,000 a day for patiently waiting out there.

    I'm so sorry for Canada. Most things about a good Canada are not true, Including clean cities - beaches, and forests. It's a big lie. The first time I arrived in Vancouver in 2018, I was shocked. As soon as I left the airport door, I saw tissue, disposable glasses, and other garbage left in the city. The further I went, the more I saw them. Before I moved to Canada, I lived in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Serbia, The United States, and for a short time in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Netherland, Germany, and England, but I have never seen the amount of garbage that people leave in different Canadian cities. Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec are no less than Vancouver. Canadian and Canada Governments don't care about this tragedy. I think everything that says about Canada as a clean and powerful culture is not true. You don't need to travel to Canada to see this. Just watch some videos about walking in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec. You will find the truth. Impossible for you to walk in a Canadian city and you don't see the dark side of that. Everywhere you will see garbage. You will never see this in Europe, Australia, the United States, Japan, and Korea. This amount of waste is not even seen in Malaysian, Indonesian, or Thailand cities. It is impossible for you to use public transport and not see a lot of garbage at stations or on the route. You will be surprised to find a lot of garbage even in the woods - by the rivers and on the beaches in Canada. I wish the Canadians woke up and had no enmity with their country.
