I just installed the Wanderbar on my 2017 Road King. Thoroughly satisfied…. Awesome sound coming out of this with good range even in the bass. Good battery life as well. Very happy with this purchase.
I just installed the road thunder plus 300 watts. Easy install even for a novice. Installed on 2014 Road King took off gas tank(very simple)and seat. Ran the wiring harness along the brake lines on the right side of tank area. Must connect all 3 wires the red POS the black neg and the fused wire for t-tap I used the red/white wire going through rear fender for brake light it will be switchable which means it will turn on and off with the ignition. The sound bar sounds great all the way up to 80 on the highway. A little pricey but I would say it was worth it for the sound and the easy install. The dealer installed Rockford Fosgate needing new bag lids with speaker screens and loss of storage in both bags for speakers and amp plus labor was to be around $2300. This Kuryakyn sound bar was a shade over $400.
I have the road thunder+ on a 2017 Heritage softail with a windshield. My friends are always blown away by how loud it is for what it is, and there isn’t a song in my playlist that I can’t hear at less than 85mph. some songs that are louder in nature i can hear at over 100mph. if you happen to like the look of the road thunder more for the looks, even though I’m sure the wanderbar is a little louder due to being the new updated version, you still won’t be disappointed. I can’t think of a single song that you wouldn’t be able to hear at interstate speed limits
I had a roadthunder on my dyna for a while. It was pretty good but I installed a plex audio system last year and WOW. The plex is like having a concert inside of the fairing.
What happened at 2:46 ? The sound completely changed and dipped with the fairing on. There’s quite a substantial difference between the 2 units in quality. The WanderBar is noticeably louder and clearer and makes the other seem like no point over 50mph. Were they both at full volume ?
Good catch! That is the audio from the ride without the fairing starting too early. Yes they both were at full volume. The WanderBar is louder when at highway speeds but the Road Thunder has a cheaper price point and can fit on a wider variety of bars!
Can the Road Thunder be easily removed so it won't be stolen? Take the soundbar inside while the bike is parked and just the brackets remain on the handlebars?
Man, I've been looking to get one of these, but this video really helped make the decision not to. Maybe it's the song, but the audio did not sound good
What’s the best option on a FXBB street bob with monster apes and NO fairing also wearing a full face helmet ? Is it worth it and will I hear it over 70mph ? Worth mentioning I have Bassani sweepers.
All of the Sound Bars are at least 10 inches in length so you will have to angle them either forward or backwards depending on where you will have the most clearance. We recommend the WanderBar if you don't have a fairing and you will hear it at 70!
How are the lows on the wanderbar compared to the roadthunder+ ?? I got the road thunder last time and i loved it just wish the lows were a tad better. What one sounds better on the low end?
Plus you’ll pay about $150 more for those lows which are hard to hear with low tone\ loud exhaust. Stick with the mids, highs and clarity from the road thunder.
You'll be able to mount any of the speakers on top of the bars. If you wanted to hang a speaker below the bars, you will likely be limited to the Road Thunder since there's only a 7" rise.
How would the Wanderbar be on a Sportster with stock bars? Not the mini apes the new ones come with. Is it doable? Or would be too much clutter? Thanks.
Me being an older generation, the Screamin funky music they play today is nuts….. give us some Fleetwood Mac or some thing out of the 80s
Copyright issues would arise

Great to hear!
That’s great to hear because I think I’m going to pull the trigger on it and put in on my 15 road king.
@@BamafaithfulRollTide you won’t be disappointed. The forment takes a little work to get the way you want it, but once installed, it’s awesome.

I would like to know if the wanderbar is good for my can am ryker
I have a very loud street Bob no windshield or faring. Is there any hope for a loud speaker for me? Just be real with me about it

How are the lows on the wanderbar compared to the roadthunder+ ?? I got the road thunder last time and i loved it just wish the lows were a tad better. What one sounds better on the low end?
You'll get a lot more lows from the Wanderbar because of the passive radiators!

Had a Softail M8 with HD Street Slammer handlebar, which speaker suited for that bar?

Where u located in somerset I live in somerset
Which one will fit best on a M109r?
Is the wanderbar plug and play or do I have to connect it to my motorcycle electronics
I'm only running bluetooth. Not hard wired on my 883 Iron. My choice for now. Respect

i have been searching FOR WEEKS for the name of the song they used to test the speaker, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE NAME IS IM GOING CRAZY
can I mount the 10 "wanderbar on my FXBB with original handlebar?
It will not fit between the handlebars but you should be able to angle it to the inside or outside of the handlebars with the joints/mounts.
Which would be better and louder at 80+ mph on a 2012 Blackline without a windshield or a helmet? How do they hold up to heat? I live in Phoenix.
First one seemed louder
Have 10” but having issues trying to charge this. Doesn’t want to trickle charge on anything than other supplied charger block.
Frustrating
You should have chosen another song in my opinion,
Me imagino que por copyrite
Pass on the wanderbar. It’s not worth the money. I just sent mine back. Was really disappointed.
Sounds muffled to me wouldn’t buy
It’s literally the same sound clip played over and over....
Its not the same clip but it is the same part of the song. That way you have a base sound to see how the speakers sound.
