@PrinceTrexus There's no race at all, Buzz is always the winner. The whole point of the "race" is that Buzz wins and gains the respect of the other toys and Woody envies and hates Buzz for that and a few other reasons. The appearances of Buzz in the level are all set and the sprite of him is already sitting on the bed the whole level, there's no way to be faster than him.
OMG THANK YOU for posting these! I *loved* this game. I never had a Sega of my own, but my best friend had one and I always begged her to play this game LOL. Great movie too!
I used to hate this level so much. I remember how I always got mad at Buzz for being faster than me. It took me a while to find out that it wasn't really a race. =P Yet, I couldn't help but have fun playing this level. ^^
@dude9904 When I was a kid I rarely beat any of my games. In fact I think I only beat Streets of Rage, Toy Story, Home Alone and Cool Spot. Of course I've beaten several of my old games later in life.
It must've been lengthened so that the developers could focus on making challenging level design. Might as well call it a bed-_corridor_ instead of a bedroom, right?

It was my favourite Sega Megadrive game when I was younger. Probably because it was one of the few I ever managed to finish.
This game still has great graphics and I probably still couldn't beat this game if I tried today

Looking at how many different levels there are, it has to be.
For some reason this level was skipped on our old system, until Mom got it back working somehow. (I think)
