Hey guys, I’m Rabea. I'm the lead guitarist in Toska, Frog Leap & Dorje where I write music, make songs and have a great time with my mates. Regarding the length of this video, I was so utterly inspired by the pedal I wanted to cram in as much playing as possible. I know it's long for a pedal demo but I felt the need to show everything I could about it.

This is the best demo on the Volante I’ve seen so far Rabea. Its really handy to visualise those secondary functions, saving/not overwriting favourites and the infinite sound process. Only had my Volante for a week so this is a great reference. Was so close to getting the Empress Echo and so stoked I waited for my new all time favourite pedal. Awesome demo mate and amazing sounds as usual.
I just got mine and I believe I already overwrote all the favorites haha. I need to dig around more. I also found it so easy to really dial in a good sound. Literally took me 4 minutes to get something I could use. Now I need to dig into all the other functions like splicing loops like this.
I STILL find myself going back to this demo almost weekly! STILL FANTASTIC

The quality of this demo video is absolutely crucial. I remember back in the 00's how I would always have to blind fire when it came to buying touring pedals. Thank you for doing such an amazing job and showing the function of the unit with such beautiful music.
Rabea, your videos are the best. I love that you always point out the musical stuff over and over again in the pedals and not just the effect it does! I‘m a bass player (mostly upright), and I am just getting started with effects on the electric bass and your videos are very helpful! I love Strymon too and after this video, I will definately get the volante (I loved it before without trying it by myself, but this video confirmed my thoughts about it!)...thank you and take care!

This video sold me, jaw on the floor quality. Seen other videos but finally saw this one and man...this pedal can capture one’s soul and hold it in suspended animation until expanding into layers of contrast and color the likes of which have been rarely experienced by the human ear. Perfect.
Man when the slow down kicked in it really put a smile on my face, what an inspiring pedal!

This is probably the best pedal review video I have ever watched, sure I am very interested in the subject, but the way you have demonstrated how the Volante works is brilliant, no nonsense, straight to the point stuff with great playing throughout. I was hooked from start to end. Thank you.

Kraken Pre-Amp Green Channel + Volante = pure magic. I’ve lost hours playing that combo. Both are spectacular.

I may be two years late, but this is arguably the best video I’ve ever seen in TH-cam! For years, I’ve been on the fence about strymon’s products, until I purchased the Volante.. this is the best pedal ever yes ever… coming from a guy who worship the memory man! Thanks Mr Rabea!
Rabea sold me on this pedal. I can see this being useful for more than guitar and is obvious where effects on older recordings got their patina or uniqueness.
That was like Listening to a new Toska Album towards the end...Players as good as Bea really bring this pedal to life

Great demo Rabea, I'm controlling Volante favourites via G2 and midi works fantastically in patch (non stomp box mode). Pete Celi at Strymon is a pure genius.
Best demo of the musicality of this pedal. This is definitely “Pro” kit, or for those who can create performance on delay “live”. I used to play with delays as it’s own instrument. This really is a cool pedal. Great playing by the way
Really nice playing. I like that you 1. didnt just play Gilmour licks and 2. didn't try to show off by shredding and 3. tried to highlight the pedals capabilities with what you chose to play.

Dude that crunch tone with that delay is such a good tone, I NEED to get a Kraken just for that dry tone.

I already own a Volante, but I’ll gladly watch every demo of it because everyone who plays it pulls such cool and different sounds out of it.
....and if you play keyboard/synths too there are a lot of demos out there. Holy crap this thing is amazing!
For your jam session at the end, you should add an overlay showing how the pedal is configured to get the sounds we are hearing. This sounds amazing.

One of the best product demonstration I've ever seen. Contratz. I'm looking for a delay board and sure I'll get one of this.
I enjoyed the hell out of this. The looper stuff you were doing in the latter part of the video sounded a lot like what Robert Fripp was doing with tape loops back in the 70s on albums like Evening Star which invented a lot of what we call today ambient music.
i've watched all of the volante reviews and yours is the best other than the strymon videos of it. and, they are more how to oriented whereas you are application oriented. thanks
