  • Non-contrast Dynamic MRI of the Brachial Plexus using different pulse sequences Revealed :
    Nerve Roots:
*A well defined intraspinal cystic lesion seen related to nerve rootlets of T1 nerve root. It measures about 9 x 10 mm (pseudomeningocele). Yet; preserved root continuity that shows thickening and abnormal SI
*Lost continuity of preganglionic C8 nerve root. While the residual post- ganglionic root and trunks shows increased SI and thickness.
*Thickened C7 post-ganglionic nerve root and related trunk that shows increased SI with focal lost continuation at dorsal root ganglion.
*Lost continuity (along 19 mm) of post-ganglioinc C5 and C6 roots with distal thinning and proximal clumped nerve fasicles.
    Brachial Plexuses Trunks:
*Thickened edematous superior, middle and inferior plexuses trunks. Increased SI.
    No detected fiber disruption.
*No related solid or cystic lesions
    Brachial plexuses Divisions:
*Thickened edematous plexus division with increased SI. No detected fiber disruption.
*No related solid or cystic lesions
 Non-homogenous abnormal SI seen at right AS and MS muscles as well as right erector spinae muscles....?Post-traumatic.
    Conclusion:
*RT. Plexuses Roots Injury (as described above)
