ive been doing glacial augument leona and nami, with mandate into zekes rush for as long as these items were in the game... (patch 11-12?) and i can tell you for a fact that those items and glacial augument are actual freelo on these two champs. thing is, these two items on leona and nami are so good, that youre quickly introduced to the whole ''elo inflation'' problem where you have lower elo players from silver or gold, suddenly jump to emerald/diamond (or at the very least plat if they are very bad), getting boosted by these items and teammates. this happened to me before i learned how to play... im pretty sure i was one of the first players, if not the very first who made glacial+imperial+zekes leona/nami build a thing. i basically made this build with zekes first, way before imperial came out but imperial mandate made it just that much better because it goes so well with zekes and with leona passive/nami E. anyway, if you plan on using it, try asking your ADC to play lucian, jinx, kogmaw or ashe for even more freelo.
I love nami, she's my main since she was released. I do most of the things you mentioned but I still had much to learn from that video and your tips, so thanks for that!
i used to use an aggro nami build from a player named hector.. he focused on using ap heavy supp items to deal a lot of dmg to carry the game but still have supp items to fill her role. since they made mandate no longer a mythic, i was kinda lost for what to do with nami. i loved this video and it was so helpful! i tried it in a game, and it worked so well! celerity really saved me many times... even out ran a miss fortune and helped rotating! thank you so much :) see you at the top :p
Thanks. Long time nami player and will be trying celerity and e max after watching this. One thing I don’t think mentioned is you can self cast e when abilities and autos are in flight and it will apply the debuff when the abilities land. You can auto-w-e-auto to burst all 3 stacks of e. Maybe not as useful after getting mandate. Also you can stand on top of your adc and bubble both of you to get to lane faster after a recall.

the one important thing you didn't mention is that you can add E on yourself during the AA animation, which makes enemies surprised about slow from "nowhere".
the only thing i really hate about playing enchanters. is buffing your teammates, and they dont use the buffs... with nami, giving your adc the e buff, and they walk back to just hit the wave with all 3 hits and then want to fight the enemy while your abilities are on CD. worse part of playing support main. having to rely on a total stranger and you both have different play styles.
Im a na master/grandmaster nami/thresh main. Loved the video, its great people are bringing up max e instead of max w, the 110 mana W actually doesnt heal nor damage as much as people think😂. She had 2 hard cc and strong buffs but people are playing her like a healer with moonstone makes me sad.
im super curious about your thoughts on moonstone renewer for nami. as a low elo player (we're talking bronze/silver), items like shureliyas have pretty minimal utility since most of the time the rest of the team gets total tunnel vision and doesnt even realize youve used it. ive always felt like moonstone gave me way more total healing than helia without a noticeable drop in damage. definitely going to try E max + mandate rush, though.
Finally someone said it. E is one of the best things to max. I used to take Nami mid with sheen and hex revolver when gunblade was an item. As the Sheen and revolver with just one E did massive damage.

Cool video! idk if you're particularly active in the Nami main community, E max tends to be pretty well know within it but not really played outside of it so it's cool to make this video and spread awareness. A few things that jumped out to me that aren't actually related but I wanted to pick your brains on: * At 03:48 you have Comet instead of Aery. Is this because of the Zyra matchup, is there a tech to be aware of? I would have thought given you had Seraphine and the ability to co-ordinate her W heal with Aery shield that that'd be the play, do you remember why you went for it? * You recommend the E max which is pretty standard, but why do you never seem to put 2 or 3 points in to it to stabilise lane before maxing E? Sure there will be some games where you don't need that, but it seems like there were never any games where you had any points in to W. * Do you not feel like Mandate's damage is over nerfed? I personally feel like what drags Nami's winrate down at the moment and makes her feel weaker than she actually is is how ubiquitous Mandate is in Nami builds, like you can go Staff of Flowing Water first item and only be down a small amount of damage for a nicer build path and better utility. However, I do recognise that I am washed up and that the game is different in GM/Chall, so maybe Mandate's damage still matters there. Have a nice day :)
No comet tech, I accidentally picked the wrong keystone LOL. Rush maxing E is a lot better than any extra points into W because the burst damage is a lot better early than later. This is because the enemy does not have the stats from levels/items to deal with the burst damage. I do not feel like mandate's damage was over nerfed; if anything, the changes in 13.12 (which changed mandate to be stronger earlier) makes this build op. I think your view on mandate/first items is incorrect as you'll be missing out on A LOT of damage if you go staff over mandate first item.
@@ShoDesu Thanks for the response, but I have to disagree. For one, the Mandate nerfs were a straight nerf under all practical scenarios. You're not going to get a level 3 Mandate, and it deals less damage at every other point in the game. Sometimes it might not be a substantial nerf, but a nerf nonetheless. I did the maths on the damage loss you get from Mandate even in the worst case scenarios, and it's pretty negligible, plus there are some unique benefits like it being cheaper than Mandate and giving you MS to move around the map so you're not missing out on plays with tier 1 boots. The real problem is that there isn't really a good enchanter Mythic on her, depending on the comp if you went Staff first you can go Moonstone and just spread it everywhere to let them stat check, but people like their AD champions. Staff (and Moonstone) definitely aren't for every game, but I just feel like there are much better alternatives to Mandate near universally.

Hi Sho big fan of your stream and your hair. You didn't include my favorite Nami trick (probably more applicable to noob elo tbh) - E applies to projectiles in motion as long as you cast it before the projectile hits (and there's no cast time). So you can wait and see if a skill shot will hit, if your ADC really will go for that free auto, etc. and you will waste it less. You probably already knew this but that trick helped my Nami play a lot so I thought I'd share.
E Max has it's weaknesses and can't be abused by most of ADCS in the early game. It heavily requires teamwork for it to work consistently in a soloq environment. It's worse for trading early levels and early 2v2s because you lose out on the sustain/damage from your W bounces, which can be the deciding factor most of the time. The only time I see E max good is if you are duoq with a Lucian, who knows how to utilize your E properly and for the communication. W max is much more consistent overall and I'm not taking out of my ass, I've been playing Nami for 5 years and have tried out many builds and strategies. She's a pretty static champion with her build options.
i think second rune-dominance with ghost poro on AP,and reduce for ulti is better,max you get 30ap so more passive move speed more heal and more damage from e,and ulti every 40 sec is goated

Thank you. I am gonna try this. Nami got me to Diamond, but in there, my winrate quickly dropped, and I had to change Nami for Soraka, even tho, Nami is the one i want to play, I feel her very weak.
One mythic item people dont consider getting is Crown of the Shattered Queen, the scaling is better than the support mythics and i would reccomend getting it when ur trying to stack mejais against aggresive comp (since namis movement speed scales with AP), it gives pretty good movement speed buff too :3
Nami main here, why scorch rune? waterwalking is better imo. Carries loves to shut down Nami supports, easier to get away and be able to keep up with ADC. Also going resolve for a bit more survivability that allows for higher kill participation by not dying as much and able to be closer in fights. Try it and tell me why its better or not?
I just tried this and won but I always think I should play more like engagers and meta champs to gain more elo (I'm low master right now) I always think I would win easier with other champs than nami, even if u play it excellent, or am I thinking wrong? Thanks for the video tho! Liked it a lot 😊
If you want to gain more elo you should just play what’s meta. Unpopular opinion but I think it’s a lot harder to climb on enchanters because their skill ceiling is a lot higher than engage supports. I think if you play an enchanter perfectly their potential is almost limitless but realistically it’s almost impossible to play at that level.
ayyyy finally i did something right without having to be told first!!! I been calling it "lazy supp mode" bc it takes less effort from me, but i still make bad calls like dying over control wards & that's why i'll never be challenger :'3
You don't even know how long I've been trying to convince people to do this build T_T. I always found max W Nami so bad, people ignore the E dmg so much. Max W is good for poke, yes, but that mandate E is so so so broken. I climb so much with Nami with max E + mandate + mejais.
the champ i best play on is nami (and cait but she isnt the focus but she also is weak rn) so i would be able to consisetently climb on her more than other champs but after the nerfs i went from winning 60% of my games to like borderline 50 so i ditched the poor girl and stopped playing ranked LMFAOOO but i will pick her up again now after seeing this
This is a normal nami build nothing new here since the mandate and mythic changes.. Go free boots on runes to get mandate faster else ur wasting 300g delaying ur mandate spike and manaflow is very mid since you dont proc it with ur e and normally you dont have mana issues

Any suggestions for Crown otsq to be replaced with? since it was removed.
@@SailorOdessa the celestial opposition upgrade for the sup item is very similar, plus it slows nearby enemies after exploding :)

What do you think about approach velocity? I find it useful in a few matchups since it makes it easier to close the distance needed to land Q
approach velocity sounds like it'd be good! I have not tried it but could def see it working well with this build.

the champ i best play on is nami (and cait but she isnt the focus but she also is weak rn) so i would be able to consisetently climb on her more than other champs but after the nerfs i went from winning 60% of my games to like borderline 50 so i ditched the poor girl and stopped playing ranked LMFAOOO but i will pick her up again now after seeing this

You should def give her another try! Play around using e on yourself in lane and land those bubbles. Make sure to ping when you’re looking to go in :)

Standard is W Max Echoes of Helia, but there are some player that stuck to E Max Mandate yes.
This is a normal nami build nothing new here since the mandate and mythic changes.. Go free boots on runes to get mandate faster else ur wasting 300g delaying ur mandate spike and manaflow is very mid since you dont proc it with ur e and normally you dont have mana issues
