Also, on the Lord telling us He goes to prepare a place for us. That's happened to me and to my son. I walked away from the Lord for about 2 years yet the Holy Spirit brought me back again. Some pastors and congregations are so cruel and think there's nothing wrong with gossiping/slandering others who have been or are wounded bc of words spoken against them. My son saw how the church treated me and him and hasn't stepped foot in a church for over 20 years now. I keep letting him know that God loves him and I pray for him daily. I haven't been in a church service except for a few funerals of people who didn't reject me, one was the founding pastor of a church that I started going to after being saved. After his death the leadership turned on me. Many left that church as did the Holy Spirit 😢 Will never understand why some churches think it's okay to verbally put others down bc of hearsay instead of getting to know the person being talked about. Words can either heal or destroy another person's spirit making that person unable to trust God or another Christian again. No wonder young people are walking away from churches and some away from GOD. I'm almost 73 now and worked in the Healthcare system which often requires you to work weekends and my son's job requires him to work also weekends (he works 2 different jobs to support his family). He doesn't drive and is rarely able to help me (disabled senior w/o transportation) but he tries to go grocery shopping when he can. Online church isn't real fellowship with other believers.
God delivered me from so so much but recently he deliveredenfrom smoking nicotine... Im still fighting it but my fear in God is too great for me to mess up i think. Indont want to feel any condemnation. Time is too short to be taking any chances.

Holy Spirit told me to move from where I am and go closer to my family. @suzannegriffiths4795 I believe the restrainer is the Holy Spirit and I base it on Matt 25 five wise and five foolish virgins and the 5 wise which were ready to meet the bridegroom. Also, on the Lord telling us He goes to prepare a place for us. Like in Jewish history when the bridegroom goes to build a house and when his father is happy with the building he tells him he can now go to fetch his bride. Also, on Matt 24, one will be taken, and the other left.

That's happened to me and to my son. I walked away from the Lord for about 2 years yet the Holy Spirit brought me back again. Some pastors and congregations are so cruel and think there's nothing wrong with gossiping/slandering others who have been or are wounded bc of words spoken against them. My son saw how the church treated me and him and hasn't stepped foot in a church for over 20 years now. I keep letting him know that God loves him and I pray for him daily. I haven't been in a church service except for a few funerals of people who didn't reject me, one was the founding pastor of a church that I started going to after being saved. After his death the leadership turned on me. Many left that church as did the Holy Spirit 😢 Will never understand why some churches think it's okay to verbally put others down bc of hearsay instead of getting to know the person being talked about. Words can either heal or destroy another person's spirit making that person unable to trust God or another Christian again. No wonder young people are walking away from churches and some away from GOD. I'm almost 73 now and worked in the Healthcare system which often requires you to work weekends and my son's job requires him to work also weekends (he works 2 different jobs to support his family). He doesn't drive and is rarely able to help me (disabled senior w/o transportation) but he tries to go grocery shopping when he can. Online church isn't real fellowship with other believers.
