Yeah probably but don't let their accents get in the way of getting to know them Easterners are the most fun, mostly from the coast. =) I'm related to quite a few actually. They're great people my favourite Aunt and Uncle still have those accents even though they've lived in Alberta about 18 years.

I listen to Tool and Pink Floyd, also to Killing Joke, Smashing Pumpkins or even Led Zeppelin, and still I'm enjoying pop punk bands as GOB or SUM 41. I like those band for their simplicity and their ability to do short catchy songs that stay in your head for a while. I have to admit they can't hold a candle to the band you named, but they're good in their own way.
Gob and sum 41 go hand and hand like one was east coast one was west coast pop punk/hard alt rock from Canada. Shame sum kept getting bigger and had some relevance in the 2010s.... gob just straight up disappeared after the 2014 album

But holy shit it's aged so well to what's happened today.... so has other songs like Incubus' megalomaniac. Everyone is mentality lost. Its just getting worse with no end in sight
