I think that car is awesome! I used to dislike 4 doors but I have since changed my mind. they make great cruising cars especially if you have people with you. I wish I had kept my 56 belair hardtop. I sold it because it was a 4 door then wished I hadn't. Im actually thinking of looking for a 53 or 54 belair. keep the cool videos coming!
Thanks! We love the four door cars. A friend of mine has a four door 53, another has a four door 54 Oldsmobile and my brother has a four door 66 Ford Custom 500.
FANTASTIC , BEAUTIFUL CRAFTSMANSHIP 👍 ! !
.
LOVE THE 4 dr . !
Thank you!
Nice Video
My first Car was a 2 door 1950 chevy Fleetline , which is long since gone , but last year I got a 1949 Chevy Fleetline Deluxe Four Door and I love it.
It came out of Saskatchewan Canada and is now living the life on Pender Island B.C.
Thanks for the Video
LAD
Awesome. Thank you for watching
I dig that crew cab 🎨
We dig you and your badass pinstriping
Parked beside you guys at the Swamp Fest car show. Great car!
Thanks man, I appreciate that.
Great car, love the tasteful resto-mod work that keeps it mostly stock appearing inside and out. I have a 53 210 2 door sedan that my grandparents bought used in 1958 and has been in family since. Stock 235 with PowerGlide, only update was it’s converted to 12 volt and has radial tires. Only has about 90k but has been a northeast PA car it’s whole life so is far crustier than yours on top and underneath I’m sure. Looks like your car was a southern car it’s whole life? Will look forward to the build of your 53 you mentioned.
Thats awesome. Having the actual family car is definitely nostalgic. Thanks for following along. The 53 should Def be up on the channel after the truck is finished, but you'll be able to see some shorts and car show clips with it.
Oh! And it was a California car. It had 63k miles when I got it.
that's bad ass car engine bay is clean.
Thank you.
Any pics or info on the fan/shroud set up and the trailer hitch? Ive got a 53 ive done a video or 2 with on my channel. I just stumbled upon your channel by chance. Love the car!
Thank you! I think I ordered the fans from Amazon, can't remember the brand. The shroud is a custom made aluminum shroud I built. The trailer hitch I also built. I think it was 2×3×3/16 tube. I built it to bolt back to the frame after removing the original rear crossmember. I welded in a receiver tube I bought from harbor freight and the chain tabs are 1/4 plate with holes cut in them.
Y'all are next door to a friend of mine Joe, I seen that car before ride by . I got a 59 Apache truck I need to talk to you about . I'd like to put a power steering frontend in it , I'll have to get a number from ya. Good job on the 54.
Yep, that's us. Lol
Does the truck still have all the original suspension under it? Are you wanting to go to a Mustang ll style front suspension with a power rack? Or a GM subframe with gearbox style steering? Or adapt something to the original?
@@SawKustomz yeah it's all original everything but the 350 motor and automatic transmission gas tanks still behind the seat, original brakes everything. It needs a lot of work I drove it until about 5 yrs ago.
I
I got a 04 Chevy Colorado truck sitting in the yard doing nothing will that work? I had to ask lol.
The Colorado only has about 53,000 miles on it the bcm went haywire.
Sick 54! What Lokar shifter is that? I need a bend that will fit my 54. I have a th400.
I can't remember the length of it, but it is the one that mounts directly to the transmission. I'm not a fan of it, I'll probably end up changing it to a floor mount shifter.
Funny how there's haters on the 4 doors. Ive always thought the 4 doors are better lookin.
Always a hater somewhere lol
@SawKustomz right. Quick question... Do you think an 18, or 20" wheel 7" wide rim with the factory backspacing would fit a stock 54?
@joebiker5992 yes. It will fit
@@SawKustomz thanks so much!!!
What up homie
What's up?
Will that thing do a burnout?
Is it capable? Yes. Will I. Nope
@@SawKustomz lame 😂😂😂
t was called a sedan. Our family had one.
Yep, I just like calling it a crew cab. 🤣
