I watched the AMA on a tv (!) and it was better resolution than the programs i watched on bbc i player !! Happy new year to Mr P and your lovely community
Wonderful varied list and although I haven't tried any , it's always a treat listening to your take on your chosen ten . Here's to next year ! Happy New year to you and Madame persolaise .😊
Happy New Year Persolaise. Tilia was one of my hates this year, it ruined a dinner. 😊 My most loved discovery of 2024 was Spell 125 by Papillon. Not new, but new to me. And I greatly enjoyed Paris Patchouli from Guerlain.
Hello Mr. P! Learn a lot from your streams. Just wanted to let you know I did notice white noise in the background (maybe a fan?) whereas in the past ones, I did not. I know you just changed your setup so wanted to give you this feedback. Cheers.
I watched the video and read the sub stack. Great list, don’t know many of these by smell but know them from your videos, but I know most of the honourable mentions. My standout releases of the year were Tuberose Astrale, Guidance 46 and Oud Alezane (I like Barenia as well). My favourite “new brands to me” discoveries of the year; Costume National, Bastille and Perfumer H. Thank you for all your incredible insights, thoughtful reflections, kind presentation and lightheartedness. I have enjoyed every video and I can’t wait for more in 2025. My perfume goals for 2025 1] be more mindful in my selections and 2] obtain some difficult to get must haves when able 😊 Happy New Year
Thought of you while watching Auntie Mame with Rosalind Russell. The scene where they exchange presents and she gifts the housekeeper with an older (obviously) bottle of Shalimar. Round base with a pointed top and a round orange label. Just saw an empty one for sale on poshmark. Not sure why I never noticed it in that scene before. Great list again. I will have to try the Aquiste and Mama Juju.
I have discovered the Roger & Gallet heritage collection this year. Like all of their edc‘s they are charming , simple in structure, and wearable in any situation. The heritage collection, besides containing classic creations like the Lavande, seem to be done with even more care than the regular line. I want to recommend Amande Persiane, by Delphine Jelk, and the carnation soap (I am secretly hoping for a return of their Oeillet edc !) A happy new year to everybody!
Thank you for the list! I also enjoy the neroli from Guerlain and Chyprelia from Puente. I think Philtre from Hiram Green is another good one, likewise Un bel Amour from PdE that you mention. Unfortunately Paddock isn't available anymore even in Paris, so it's completely gone.
All new to me except MFK. I giggled so much with your squeaky cap, as it reminded me of a joke so long ago about “what noise do clowns make when they’re making love 🤣🤭😂 Happy New Year 🎉🥳 🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺🥳
Nice of a reviewer to make mention of female perfumers. I was struck that I seem to prefer female perfumers compositions as more than two thirds of the perfumes I own were created by women, which is quite astonishing as the majority of perfumers are still men
Here's my backstory on Almond Suede. I had a medical visit with Carlos' husband in August. I was considering getting Venice Rococco, but Carlos wrote me and said there was a new launch called Almond Suede, and I just knew. So I think I got the first bottle (to the public!). I love it. When I saw Carlos at ScentXPlore, we had a nice laugh over it. I like Grove by the Sea, but Almond Suede won 2024's trio.
This is the perfume event of the year!
😃 Thanks very much indeed.

Oh my word, maybe that's TOO high a resolution! I'm not sure seeing every pore on my face is such a great thing.
Wonderful varied list and although I haven't tried any , it's always a treat listening to your take on your chosen ten . Here's to next year ! Happy New year to you and Madame persolaise .😊
Thanks very much, Angela. I hope you get to try some of them soon.
Stayed up until 2am to watch this. Didn't disappoint. Really want to try some Puente scents this coming year.
Oh wow -- thank you! And I hope you get to try some Puentes.

Ah, that's helpful, thank you.
Hi, I also noticed that the audio is very soft compared to other videos.

Thanks very much for sharing your list. I think we could all do with being more mindful, right?
Tilia was in my Top 3 this year (along with FdB Sirene and Sorce English Major). I’m always enamored by linden and Tilia is a spectacular composition.
Tilia seems to be on many people's lists.
Happy new year Mr P! 🎉
And the same to you!

Oooh, another film to add to the list.
Thanks for watching.

A happy new year to everybody!
Thanks very much for this. I really love their soaps.
@@Persolaise so do I. Whenever I travel I take one with me and every hotel bathroom smells divine as soon as I unpack it.
Squeaky cap 🤣 so enjoyed the video 🥰 happy new year & thank you for all you do
Thank YOU for all the support.
Your shirt and colour is fantastic. Very Indochine and Parisian.
That's very kind, thank you.

Hermes seriously need to consider bringing Paddock back.
Thanks for watching.
This is the best perfume channel! Happy New Year Mr. P.!
You're too kind, thank you.
Happiest of New Years, Mr. P!
Thank you -- the same to you.
This is the best shirt of 2024 ❤
Thanks very much ;-)
Great reviews and wonderful content. I’m looking forward to a review of metallic scents.
Intriguing idea -- thank you.
All new to me except MFK. I giggled so much with your squeaky cap, as it reminded me of a joke so long ago about “what noise do clowns make when they’re making love 🤣🤭😂
Happy New Year 🎉🥳
🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺🥳
Ha! A clown classic!
Thanks for watching.
Hi mister P👋🏼 did you smell Arquiste A grove by the sea? I am quiet curious to smell it!
Yes, here you go: persolaise.com/2024/07/louis-vuitton-lovers-les-indemodables-oranger-sirocco-arquiste-a-grove-by-the-sea-and-other-reviews-2024.html
@ thank you 🙏🏻🤩
Almond Suede...love it but for me its too persistent...I can only wear it on my wrists as it can get "too evident" for me..its so potent.
Ah, interesting. It is pretty strong.
Tilia is on my list. I went with Tuberose Astrale, but Tilia is going to go home with me at some point.
Glad to read this.
As a filthy rose, how does La Bague d'O compare to Akro Night?
The Akro relies quite a lot on cumin. La Bague D'O goes more boudoir-powdery.
Nice of a reviewer to make mention of female perfumers. I was struck that I seem to prefer female perfumers compositions as more than two thirds of the perfumes I own were created by women, which is quite astonishing as the majority of perfumers are still men
That is quite something.
Thanks very much for watching.
Big fan of Arquiste.
Wishing you and Lady Persolaise the very happiest of New Year.
Thank you so much. All the best to you too.
Un Bel Amour d’Été has been criminally ignored.
I was very, very impressed with it.
Thanks for watching.
How about this top 10 awards title: The Spritzies.
Ha! Good one!

Brilliant story! Thanks for sharing. And yes, Almond Suede is my favourite of the three as well.
