No matter how hard it was, in the end, you found forgiveness in your heart for your husband. I'm glad you gave it your all un your marriage before calling it quits. And I'm glad he turned around. May you both continue to keep trying in your marriage and love one another. Marriage is not easy. I'm glad you didn't let him slow you down in getting your education. Good story to learn from.

Life lessons. 1. It takes one person to mess up a good relationship and great family. 2. Not other person, but me who needs to change for a better life, leave that nut head if I have to. 3. Be careful what I wish for in a relationship. Most of the time that leads to heart broken. 4. Remember the lesson, let go of the pain. Thanks for sharing your story.

She never stopped loving her husband and vice versa. They were just at different stages of their lives because they married so young. She grew up quicker, whereas he didn't. She had goals, and he didn't. Her maturity level was just beyond his. Finally, he realized he needed to grow up. That's all. Good for her for never giving up on herself. Smart woman!

No marriage is perfect. For a long marriage, you have to have long patience, forgiveness, and understanding.
As for kids, let them date. The more you try to stop them, the more they will sneak around your back. It's okay for kids to start dating at a certain stage. Just tell them and guide them.

I’m down for education, but a degree isn’t everything. Plenty of successful people out there with no college degrees. I even regret getting mine bc I don’t even use/need it but paid $$$ for nothing lol.
Also, I’m sorry you let your daughters bf sleep with your daughter. He’s getting all the benefits without any commitment, too easy.

A full time worker yet want love. I'm not sure if your ranting in the end about relationships make sense it is common for parents to stop because they see hardships you didn't. It didn't mean let them date if they want young get pregnant etc... you married an immature guy you let him have many chances until he changed so all you did was waited. Hey as long you happy next time handle within stop going back and forth to parents it makes no sense.
