I, too, have a large collection of children's books, many chosen for their illustrations. You may have mentioned these illustrators previously, but if not, two whose work I enjoy are Ernest Shepard, who illustrated the original Winnie-the-Pooh books, and the second is Shirley Hughes who wrote and illustrated the various "Alfie" books.
