I have been listening to all kinds of music from around the world my whole life and I agree with Stan. There is something about Dimash that defies description or understanding. I have NEVER been so completely enthralled by a singer as I am with Dimash. There are millions of great singers around the world, many of whom I like and appreciate. But, for me, Dimash stands above them all. I can't explain it, but he touches me in a way that no one else ever has.
I feel the same! I love all kinds of music, but it is a must for me to listen to Dimash every day. His voice touches my heart and soul, and I believe that he is here to unite people with love around the world.

With Covid situation, all those lifes lost was the main inspiration behind Qairan Elim, but as it evolved to it's final form, Dimash and his partners managed to entail so many more things except Covid... the wars, the tragedies, the love for his country, their struggles, their history, the love for all humanity, the hope for the future, the prayer for salvation, the beuty of things lost (all delicate and precious things like music), so many metaphors in every image and every shot of the camera... It's a masterpiece and you have to be inhuman in order not to feel deeply moved and touched by this. I feel like if there was an Angel on earth praying to God for humans, that would be Dimash in this song.
Dimash is angelic, he has a message for the world. Angelina Jordan is a good singer. There is something so special about Dimash, you don't have to understand the language to be moved by him.

Dimash loves & is passionate about the people his country. His country was run over & ruled by other countries. He feels proud & sad at the same time. You're absolutely right dimash it's so incredible thank you cannot compare him to any human being on Earth. Every song and I mean every song he takes you on a journey with him he never leaves you behind and you get stuck and forget the whole world around you. You just can help get lost in his music and feel every inch of pain sorrow and love coming out of this man. I think it's less about what the country is called. Whether all of America or just Ohio. The Kazakhs have a special relationship with their country, but not only because it is their nation. We love to forget that we are nothing without our country. It gives us protection, it gives us food, it gives us shelter. We are about to destroy our foundations. So there is nothing wrong with praying that our country may live forever. The song arose from the pain in the hearts of those who produced it, about the suffering of the people in the pandemic, in the war in many other things. It is a song that on the one hand is a prayer, on the other hand it should bring the message that we can survive anything, even difficult times like now. It is a message to the people in his country, but also to the people all over the world. The song made me cry because I felt the pain that was processed in it. It's wonderful in a painful way.

Well, a matter of taste of course, but I can't compare Dimash to anybody. For me he is on another level, technically and emotionally. This song is prompted by the very difficult COVID situation in Kazakhstan, which caused the death of some people who were very important to him.

Stan, you are not alone. Setting aside Dimash's superhuman musicality and his once-in-a-lifetime voice, above all, Dimash sings with his entire being. All that he has, he gives, over and over again selflessly, willingly, utterly. He has surrendered himself to his gift and allows its power to move totally and freely from him to us. I remember your first reaction to 'SOS' when you said, "His voice sounds like it could cure a disease." and so many people have reported how listening to Dimash have helped them through depression, bereavement and serious illness in a way that nothing else has. Another reactor has expressed why this happens so well. He said: "His voice isn't even beautiful, his voice is spiritual. 'Beautiful' is not enough for this man's voice, this man has got a spiritual voice. This man doesn't talk to human beings, he talks to souls. That voice is made to talk to a soul. Stan you are so so right.👍 Yes they are some very good singers out there .... but as you have said there is NO BODY ELSE WHO COULD COMPARE TO DIMASH. The Word compare is to see IDENTICAL CAPACITIES. And NO BODY has the SAME capacities of Dimash. We can like so many songs and singers .... but we are deeply moved to tears only by Dimash. With him singing nonbody cares in which language he sings, because he conveys the feeling with his voice, not with the lyrics.💙 In this song we don't see his agility on High or low notes, he does not show off, he sings soflty, very breathy, even though as if he is crying with his voice .... and towards the end he just trows a single note (which is not even High or powerful for him). This is Dimash' directorial debut. The symbolism portrayed in the video is very important. Dimash lost some of his friends and one of his beloved teachers to Covid-19. The pianist dying is an homage to that. I feel though that his message goes beyond his own land Kazakhstan - he is weeping with his voice for the entire world.

Hi! I absolutely agree that Dimash’s voice is unique and touches your soul deeply as nobody’s. It makes feel such unusual emotions that you don’t feel in everyday life. And about the question that holy land was used by two different statements in Kazakh. Actually, Dimash is singing Qairan elim that means my Holy land and then Tugan zherym which means my Home land.
When Dimash sings he has a way of directly reaching your soul and delivering a message that reminds us about what truly matters. He has a healing ability like no other and you can feel it every time he sings. His voice and music can move us to tears as well as lift up our spirits. The symbolic imagery used in this video is simply amazing , like the fire symbolizing pain, sacrifice, purification. The need for all humans to play their parts with passion until the very end. Loved the image of the steppes filled with warriors, followed by the same expanse totally peaceful. Just beautiful. And that last note with Dimash on his knees (again) but in such a humbled way, scorched by life but still singing. Just amazing. A beautiful message of hope in disorienting times.
I don't know much about Ohio, but imagine that this is not about specific piece of land, but about the world in general. Our holy world. There is no other. The world is sick, there is a war going on in it, people are embittered and it really scares. Dimash prays to heaven for peace and order, gives all of himself, burns himself to be heard there in heaven. And this is a message not only to heaven, but to all of us. Dimash is unique for his amazing ability to empathize and share it with others.

Well, Stan...I agree with your perspective about Dimash. He does draw you in...and one does feel the / his emotions, too. Sometimes, I think the ones that don't relate to his music might not be that open to explore their feelings...or are afraid to explore and discover something.

Angelina has a wonderful voice, does she have a flawless 7 Octave range? Of course not, can she sing Opera to Professional Standards? Need I go on. Technically no singer can compare with Dimash. Of course you may prefer other singers, but technically he's in a class of his own. Check out Professional Opera Singers, Vocal coaches etc reactions and they all say he's the best for a reason. 😊🏴👍
It was not about technical superiority. It was about the degree of impact on the soul, which of them touches human feelings more deeply. I have to agree that this is very individual. I really like Angelina, I adore Diana and Danelia, Hua Chenyu, Zhou Shen as well as some singers from the older generation ... but Dimash is on a separate pedestal for me. However, I also understand those who may not be moved by the sound of his voice. It's just a matter of taste.

If I happened to be a fan of Angelina Jordan, I would not want anybody to compare her to Dimash because I know, others know and Angelina herself knows that no one can come close to him. As one music producer said, "there are singers out there, and there are great singers, then there is Dimash".
I completely agree with Stan, I don't want to diminish the value of other good singers, but something in Dimash's voice color or the frequency of his voice makes his singing reach the heart and soul of the listener. This is exactly what sets him apart from other singers. I haven't felt it with any other singer so far, no matter how good he was. No other singer has attracted me with his singing to listen to him every day like Dimash for two years. I have listened to each of his songs many times and every time I listen to it as if for the first time and every time I have deep emotions.

In the last month is the spread of the coronavirus in Kasachstan increased rapidly. A lot of people had to fight against this virus and died because of the pneumonia. There were few medicines and breathing apparatus. Some people from Dimash's inner circle also died. For example:His professor from whom he recently completed his master degree in composition died within only few days. AS IF BURNED OUT. Dimash worked on his new album. But, I think, he decided with his team spontaneously to make this video as a prayer for peace and health in his homeland and in the whole world. You are right, we don't hear the name of this country in his song. It could be each other of the countries in the world. He prays with his team for his, your, my homeland and for the whole world.

Dimash is currently collaborating on an all Kazakh album with the composer of that original song, Renat Gaissin, who happens to be the pianist in the video. This masterpiece of a song is Dimash’s prayer for peace for both his homeland and the world. “Qairan Elim” means “My Sacred Land” in Kazakh. I also read a comment from a Kazakh that Qairan also means long-suffering, and Elim can be translated into “my people” as well. This song is hauntingly beautiful and pierces through one’s heart and soul. The majestic sound of the Kobyz/Qobyz (the traditional Kazakh string instrument) adds to its deep meaning in such an emotional way. Also, bravo to Dimash on his directorial debut! The MV is a masterpiece in its own right: every single frame/shot was magnificent with all the light and color contrasts, creating a beautiful dynamics on a visual standpoint. Furthermore, all the visual metaphors that Dimash used in the video convey perfectly his powerful message. Thus, depending on your interpretation, the visual metaphors of the fire used in the video can symbolize pain, purification, rebirth and resurrection; but also all the hardships and sufferings of the world. As for the striking image of the pianist falling dead at the end, it could be a reference to one of his music teachers, Murat Azhimovich, whom he recently lost. The presence of color in the last shot signifies indeed the hope and anticipation of a brighter future. I have been listening to all kinds of music from around the world my whole life and I agree with Stan. There is something about Dimash that defies description or understanding. I have NEVER been so completely enthralled by a singer as I am with Dimash. There are millions of great singers around the world, many of whom I like and appreciate. But, for me, Dimash stands above them all. I can't explain it, but he touches me in a way that no one else ever has.

With Covid situation, all those lifes lost was the main inspiration behind Qairan Elim, but as it evolved to it's final form, Dimash and his partners managed to entail so many more things except Covid... the wars, the tragedies, the love for his country, their struggles, their history, the love for all humanity, the hope for the future, the prayer for salvation, the beuty of things lost (all delicate and precious things like music), so many metaphors in every image and every shot of the camera... It's a masterpiece and you have to be inhuman in order not to feel deeply moved and touched by this. I feel like if there was an Angel on earth praying to God for humans, that would be Dimash in this song.

You're absolutely right dimash it's so incredible thank you cannot compare him to any human being on Earth. Every song and I mean every song he takes you on a journey with him he never leaves you behind and you get stuck and forget the whole world around you. You just can help get lost in his music and feel every inch of pain sorrow and love coming out of this man. Stan, you are not alone. Setting aside Dimash's superhuman musicality and his once-in-a-lifetime voice, above all, Dimash sings with his entire being. All that he has, he gives, over and over again selflessly, willingly, utterly. He has surrendered himself to his gift and allows its power to move totally and freely from him to us. I remember your first reaction to 'SOS' when you said, "His voice sounds like it could cure a disease." and so many people have reported how listening to Dimash have helped them through depression, bereavement and serious illness in a way that nothing else has. Another reactor has expressed why this happens so well. He said: "His voice isn't even beautiful, his voice is spiritual. This is Dimash' directorial debut. The symbolism portrayed in the video is very important. Dimash lost some of his friends and one of his beloved teachers to Covid-19. The pianist dying is an homage to that. I feel though that his message goes beyond his own land Kazakhstan - he is weeping with his voice for the entire world.

The symbolic imagery used in this video is simply amazing , like the fire symbolizing pain, sacrifice, purification. The need for all humans to play their parts with passion until the very end. Loved the image of the steppes filled with warriors, followed by the same expanse totally peaceful. Just beautiful. Well, Stan...I agree with your perspective about Dimash. He does draw you in...and one does feel the / his emotions, too. Sometimes, I think the ones that don't relate to his music might not be that open to explore their feelings...or are afraid to explore and discover something.

Angelina has a wonderful voice, does she have a flawless 7 Octave range? Of course not, can she sing Opera to Professional Standards? Need I go on. Technically no singer can compare with Dimash. Of course you may prefer other singers, but technically he's in a class of his own. Check out Professional Opera Singers, Vocal coaches etc reactions and they all say he's the best for a reason. 😊🏴👍

It was not about technical superiority. It was about the degree of impact on the soul, which of them touches human feelings more deeply. I have to agree that this is very individual. I really like Angelina, I adore Diana and Danelia, Hua Chenyu, Zhou Shen as well as some singers from the older generation ... but Dimash is on a separate pedestal for me. However, I also understand those who may not be moved by the sound of his voice. It's just a matter of taste.

Good to see you again. I've been waiting for your reaction to this new MV. With all due respect to your view, Brian, I agree with Stan. If I happened to be a fan of Angelina Jordan, I would not want anybody to compare her to Dimash because I know, others know and Angelina herself knows that no one can come close to him. As one music producer said, "there are singers out there, and there are great singers, then there is Dimash".
I completely agree with Stan, I don't want to diminish the value of other good singers, but something in Dimash's voice color or the frequency of his voice makes his singing reach the heart and soul of the listener. This is exactly what sets him apart from other singers. I haven't felt it with any other singer so far, no matter how good he was. No other singer has attracted me with his singing to listen to him every day like Dimash for two years. I have listened to each of his songs many times and every time I listen to it as if for the first time and every time I have deep emotions.

This video is the first, where Dimash was also a co director.
He sings about his homeland. With its difficult history but also a very difficult actual situation. In the last month is the spread of the coronavirus in Kasachstan increased rapidly. A lot of people had to fight against this virus and died because of the pneumonia. There were few medicines and breathing apparatus. Some people from Dimash's inner circle also died. For example:His professor from whom he recently completed his master degree in composition died within only few days. AS IF BURNED OUT. Dimash worked on his new album. But, I think, he decided with his team spontaneously to make this video as a prayer for peace and health in his homeland and in the whole world.
You are right, we don't hear the name of this country in his song. It could be each other of the countries in the world. He prays with his team for his, your, my homeland and for the whole world.

Dimash is currently collaborating on an all Kazakh album with the composer of that original song, Renat Gaissin, who happens to be the pianist in the video.
This masterpiece of a song is Dimash’s prayer for peace for both his homeland and the world. “Qairan Elim” means “My Sacred Land” in Kazakh. I also read a comment from a Kazakh that Qairan also means long-suffering, and Elim can be translated into “my people” as well. This song is hauntingly beautiful and pierces through one’s heart and soul. The majestic sound of the Kobyz/Qobyz (the traditional Kazakh string instrument) adds to its deep meaning in such an emotional way.
Also, bravo to Dimash on his directorial debut! The MV is a masterpiece in its own right: every single frame/shot was magnificent with all the light and color contrasts, creating a beautiful dynamics on a visual standpoint. Furthermore, all the visual metaphors that Dimash used in the video convey perfectly his powerful message. Thus, depending on your interpretation, the visual metaphors of the fire used in the video can symbolize pain, purification, rebirth and resurrection; but also all the hardships and sufferings of the world. As for the striking image of the pianist falling dead at the end, it could be a reference to one of his music teachers, Murat Azhimovich, whom he recently lost. The presence of color in the last shot signifies indeed the hope and anticipation of a brighter future.
