@0nlycrime He tunes down a half step. I wrote it out for standard tuning. So if you tune down you, just move all the chords up 1 fret... The first chord would be rooted on the 3rd fret, 3-2-(5), instead of 2-1-(4). I like the way it sounds when it's tuned down because you can let the b string ring out a little here and there. Hope this helps :)
@0nlycrime The (5) is just a "ghost" note. You don't have to play it cuz it's not actually being fretted, but it comes out here and there occasionally on the open g string. 3-2-0 and 3-2-0-0 works just fine.. Just a G shape chord on the top few strings.
The devil's in the graveyard reading names of all the ones he tripped up on the way. He sits down in the moonlight, wipes his tears staring at the white rose that he placed in front of the grave he visits each day since she slipped away. The devil hides his blue eyes in his hand. He wipes away the last tears as he stands. He hears her voice so clearly on the breeze. She's singing like an angel to his weakest knees. So he twists off the cap and tips his head back for that sweet relief.
The devil's walking slowly on the street towards his empty condo where he'll creep. The silence of his bedroom before he slips into his every nightmare as he sleeps. He sees her bright smile at the heavenly gates as he's turned away.
Love this tune. It's all played on the E-A-D strings. Here's a mini-version of the tabs... hope it's helpful : )
Verse:
F# 2-1-(4)
D#m (2nd inversion) 6-6-4
C# (2nd inversion) 4-4-3
B/C#7 (3rd inversion) 7-8-6
Chorus:
F# (2nd inversion) 9-9-8
A# (1st inversion) 10-8-8
C#7 9-8-9
the one dislike is from the devil cause this song hits too close to home.
