Just marriage as in literally officially getting married might not always be the best option, needed, or even possible (if it's a same-sex relationship for example). E.g. my dad has never been married and he is 60 but he is also in a commited relationship with children and a house and so on. Official marriage just wasn't optimal for them. So I feel like it is not really needed, depending on the situation.

i really love this conversation. i find myself relating so much with akina on the whole conversation, but i really love and agree with kana's. it's like at this point in life, i feel like i'm in between akina's and kanae's standpoints, like i both agree and understand them, but right now, i feel and relate with akina on so many levels... especially with the cat haha
