I just love how much new excitement the pumas are bringing into the game we all love.....irrespective of being an avid bok supporter....gotta say I'm loving the breath of fresh air the Argies are contributing into the game currently.....So many new names and styles the are adding to contribute to the conversation and the added twist to the usual expectations to results are down right awesome.....Especially when it's coming from our southern hemisphere brothers,it's even more exciting and worth watching....my heart will always bleed green and gold....but with the way our younger rugby brothers in Argentina are performing of late....I have to say kudos to them and don't mind loosing to a team that plays ,albeit up and down.....always brings on the passion and heart my springboks utilize to win them unexpected games when they do.....if anything, besides loosing to the AB'S, the pumas are the only other team,I don't feel that bad loosing against....purely down the the utmost respect I have for them....Go boks,this weekend....but all the same...go pumas and give my beloved boks a run for their money....salut
The South African rugby union has contributed significantly to integrating the Pumas into tournaments like the Rugby Championship and having a Super Rugby team-we hope we can return soon. For all this, we are very grateful to our big brothers, the Springboks. Nevertheless, we'll leave our hearts and souls on the field this Saturday. A big hug from the other side of the Atlantic!!
Another big hug, I agree completely with my country fellow. The best we can do to honor the support we've received from SA is to give it all on Saturday's game.

I am a SA supporter and yes as an Argentinian the least they want is a double victory against the current world champs, imagine. Looking forward to another spirited performance from both sides.
@@conganangu4348with our limitations and our horrible economy we have managed to be competitive in a lot of collective sports our soccer team is a 3 time world champion and 2 times Olympic champion our basketball team is a world and Olympic champion , good boxers , tennis players , won the Davis cup , our spirit and competitiveness is world class ,except soccer we are underdogs and we like it because all the pressure is on the boks and they will probably win but the day will come when they will level , it’s inevitable, you can see their progress, the thing with our sportsmen is that the soccer spirit is present in every sport , whether it’s ginobili or Santiago carrera , the dribbling ability , we carry it with us , I can see it in our wings , viva la libertad carajo

I am a bit nervous about this game to be honest - the speed at which argies moves the ball is quite scary, , our rush D cudnt contain it - so if they were to polish that further it wl be a long day in the office for us - however if they allow us to slow down the game m sure we shud get over the line.
I hope the Pumas are runners up; their best ever result 🇦🇷
Remember SA went through this exact same thing with Willemse. Tried him at 10. Goal kicking was not there. Tried to bring in Faf, Kolbe and I think Reinach to kick. Worked in one game, but didn't work in another. Don't think its a long term solution.

Last week I left a comment for you saying that I was concerned about the results of the game. I said the Boks were going to lose, but because the psychology was pointing towards it. That is why I can with confidence say the Boks are going to win on Saturday.
Last week there was no leadership, this week it's different, Sia is back.
When Manie starts, the Boks win. Rassie erred last week. Libbok is the opposite to Kwagga, Manie is strictly a starter. Boks to win with a bonus point. 4-5 unconverted tries 😅

100% agree, I still think we don't beat France in the WC if Manie didn't start. He is a strict starter, the way he just makes the attack sharper is so key and Pollard is a serious closer, but I don't expect him to come on when chasing the game

Hendrikse or Kolbe should take the kicking tee responsibilities just to take the pressure off Manie. This will let him play his natural game and run the show without having the goal kicks hanging over his head

Jokes aside, Argentina have been brilliant this championship and if they do win on Saturday, I actually hope they win the entire thing, (otherwise it will be a bit of a hollow championship), that being said I reckon the Boks will grind this one out (YCs withstanding) by 8-12 points. Will be interesting to see whose kicking for the Boks, rumor has Hendrikse and Kolbe as the first choice goal kickers.

I've even seen some people mention Jordan Henrikse's name in a conversation about replacing Manie permanently.
People seem to have forgotten that Manie instrumented a URC trophy win for the Stormers, they now look at someone like Jordan Henrikse getting one big kick over in the Currie Cup and suddenly start questioning whether he isn't an outright better player, this being the same Jordan who people unanimously weren't impressed by when he did get a Bok start against Wales.
I know fans will be fickle but sometimes it really does feel like there's some kind of collective memory loss at play.
Less Tonyball this week, we nees to tighten our defensive lines. We have been lacking in that department since tonyball was introduced
Isgró is a loose cannon in Argentina, he could either win the match with electrifying runs or he could be very well being sent off after 5 minutes for some really dumb infraction. 😐

No Kremer (injured) and Matera on the bench! Not ideal. I dont get Bertraneou not starting who was delivering all those quick balls last week. Moroni is just coming back. Cinti has performed well as the lynchpin defense of that entire backline. I dont feel so good about this.

What's the temp like in NZ for this 1? I'm sure Argentina has a lot of support there.
The only reason Manie is still in the conversation is because he is a genuinely great playmaker. Just hard to imagine a solution to the goalkicking without having to have a goalkicker on the bench. Starting Pollard or SFM elsewhere in the backline is sacrificing a more specialist player in that position.
Would have gone with Manie first up last week as well. He gets the backline going forward a lot better and it fits his game to go first up, and then bring Pollard on when fatique sets in and penalties become more crucial.
Argentina also brought in speed everywhere this week, so might be a good spectacle. Hope our lineouts and defense will stand-up this week

What actually happened to the expectation that the fullback could take over kicking duties if the flyhalf wasn't getting it right on the day?
At this rate we may have to ask Cheslin to also do the goal kicking. I mean he can already do lineout throws and scrumhalf passes, so he can probably kick better too :p
I'll bet the Bok lineout looks better this week with Eben and PSDT back in the starting VX. With Nortje (and a little time to work on things), that's three good receivers. They'll be working on it all week.
Huge game for los pumas this weekend! They’ve already made it to the mountain top this season beating NZ and SA in the Rugby Championship 👏🏾. Unfortunately, they don’t play back to back big performances in a row. Hope I’m wrong, Bokkes by 25.
Hey bro, just wanna say. I love your content. But as a Saffer, I must encourage you, and your audience, to back up off Libbok a bit. Handre also missed a kick that game yet no one is making content about it, because for some reason there is a TH-cam economy centered around Mani's missed kicks. In the RWC Final, Mo'unga and Barret both missed kicks. These things happen. It is an incredible amount of pressure. and the margins are extremely thin. Its awesome if the ball goes through, but sometimes it doesnt. Sure Mani could have secured the game with that kick at goals, but it was his brilliant contestable kick before that, that gave us the position to milk a penalty and have an opportunity to kick for the win in the first place. Honestly, I think he is much better starting than off the bench. He has the chance to get the attack going, which is where his skillset shines. Rassie backs Mani, his team backs him, and so do I.
Please explain how the scoring works... if Argentina win the game by how much? To take the championship

The points difference won't be relevant.
But in summary, they require a bonus point win (which means 3 tries more than the boks) and they have to keep the boks from getting a losing bonus point (so they have to win by at least 8 points).

Our Rassie has become too WINDGAT ( TOO COCKY) and needs to come down from his high perch. We needed to lose, just in time to get our heads back in focus and deflate our big head bubble. But the blame lies squarely with Rassie. This past weekends game was not ever meant to be lost. Winning is everything for this nation and its time THIS BOK team knows that. We have been taking hits of loses all for building squad depth, and now that's near in place, we need a winning team in between world cups.

THIS IS WHAT came from RASSIES PICKS. The standouts again and not many are lauding them are Ox Nche, Aphelele Fassi and Lukhanyo Am. Thus why Am was put back into the squad for this final game. We need to be fair in our criticisms of our players. Willie having being rested, can no longer outperform Fassi. It will be interesting how and when Willie gets to 100 caps. But no matches against the top teams going forward for him.
