    What a Great Road and Beautiful Vid. Love the Hotel in Durango. I am glad the Sinaloa gunmen did not point the guns at you that would have been unnerving they had a lot of firepower. Nice to meet other Rider on the same bike. Looking forward to you next vid drive safe and enjoy Mexico. !!

    Awesome video and beautiful scenery for sure! Yea, those hombres were for real. I’m sure they knew you were coming as well. The light late in the day was beautiful. I do have a question , why didn’t you build a fire in the fireplace? Great series , I like when you can show the local food too, it sure looked good. I look forward to the next one. Best!

    • @JDOnTheRoad
      @JDOnTheRoad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Creed M! 😀 Delighted you like the video! 👏🏻👏🏻 And the food! It's always difficult to know what people like to see so happy to hear you are interested in the food too! 😀👍
      Great question! Quick answer is - we didn't have firewood. It wasn't provided. The receptionist really wasn't the friendliest and her boyfriend/husband/pimp was sitting on the couch the whole time we checked in and didn't look the friendliest either - and after the fright we had just gotten, we didn't feel like asking for firewood. And really, after just coming from warm Baja California, we didn't realise we needed it! It was only when we went to bed we realised how cold it was - and then it properly dawned on us the reason for the fireplace! 🙈🤣🤣 Next time we will ask for wood but so far we haven't had a fireplace again! Best regards J&D

    They don’t do anything to u just don’t mess with them usually in Durango the Sinaloa Durango drug cartel don’t touch tourists just please don’t try to act though or do what ur not supposed to those guys in the video where patrolling the area

      Hi @jefazobelico! 😀 No, don't worry, they scared us enough, we had absolutely no intention of playing tough, we were happy to keep riding! Was just an eye opener for us! Others had told us the same that if we mind our own business the cartel will not bother tourists either. We were happy to hear that! Best wishes J&D

    Mexico has many places to visit. There is a state called San Luis Potosi. It has an area called la huasteca potosina. Known for its blue clear water. I am originally from Aguascalientes which has it's annual San Marcos Fair. Which will take place fron 15 April to may 7th. You guys should check it out. You wouldn't regret it. Safe rides from a fellow biker.

      I've never ridden in mexico. I've lived most of my life in california, yet it is a dream I have to take the baja peninsula and the ferry to go to my home state. I've only ridden in california, places like yosemite, lake taho, San Francisco and Santa Cruz. Yet one day I'll take a trip to Mexico on a motorcycle. I currently have a 2001 vstar 1100.
