In my opinion, (for what it's worth) Dag Wiren was the "Swedish Sibelius". OK his composition style was entirely different and he didn't quite have the soaring Sibelius themes, but his invention, orchestration and development were every bit as good as Sibelius. This is a wonderful symphony and needs to be heard.

Your opinion is a good discovery, dear David.
All opinions (positive or negative) are always welcome. It is a way to participate and exchange ideas. And to promote concord, I just do not accept coarse words because they speak more of the person than of the work itself.
To disagree is not necessary to express oneself with inappropriate words.
You always speak correctly and your opinion is always well received.
Your comparison between Wirén and Sibelius seems completely correct!
Thank you very much for participating in my channel.
(Although the speed of my answers is slower and slower due to lack of time).

@@RobertoPintos Thank you Roberto for your very kind words and your observations of others is absolutely spot on. Some of my comments on works have received abusive replies, but of course never from you.....a true musician. David

@@DavidA-ps1qr Thank you very much friend!!!
I only try to make my channel a place to express myself correctly. It is possible to say "I do not like it", but for this it is not necessary to use rude words. People tend to project their own experience (conflicts, bad moments) on other things. I only try to share the diversity of human expression, sometimes brilliant, sometimes brilliant, sometimes good, sometimes modest. But there is no need to apply insulting words in any case.
      Insulting concepts are often self-portraits.
Thanks for being here, dear David!
