2:56 14 times is a lot lower than 47 times, but apparently the latter (i.e. what Stephen Fry says here, not what's on the card) is correct. 11:41 Interestingly, this song ('Phoenix') does not have the correct title (there is no phoenix in The Philosopher's Stone, the first one we see (Fawkes) is in Chamber of Secrets); it should have been called 'Peacock' instead. Apparently, Jeremy Soule wrote the soundtrack with the PS1 version in mind because in the Diagon Alley section of that game we have to collect 3 ingredients from animals to make a dragon tonic for Norbert(a), one of which is a peacock in Ollivander's storeroom and in there this piece of music plays (the names of the songs for the other two animals ('Toad' and 'Owl') are correct). Having said that, maybe this peacock was initially conceived to be a phoenix (because phoenix feathers are actually used by wandmakers for the cores of some of their wands) and that's why the song still carries this name (but then I'm wondering why they changed that🤔probably just to leave it for a proper introduction in CoS since the animal is actually/really relevant for the story there). 18:52 I think Marjoribanks was a scientist who did research on Gillyweed and properly documented its properties, while Ketteridge was the first one who ate it and didn't die/lived to tell the tale afterwards (it's just worded a bit 'quick and dirty' here). Maybe her case was actually (partially) the motivation for him to do (further) research on it.
Yes, I've compared both versions. So in the retail, Hermione is in the bathroom a bit later on, repeating a line: Good luck er...Harry? The 3 lines she drops here are thanks to the Extended Mod. Now ofcourse, there could be some US and EU version differences I'm not aware of like in the Philosopher's Stone game. The main one I'm aware of is that in US, Jim Dale is the narrator of Chamber of Secrets, not Stephen Fry.
@zelgadis115 The pause only happens after you take the potion and you no longer look like Harry. But I was pretty sure she was there brewing every time the bathroom was accessible after the first time; I’ll need to go check
Okay, so in my copy sheʼs here between Bicorn Horn and the first meeting of dueling club (when she said sheʼd be looking for books in the library), between that and Diffindo (when she said sheʼd be working on the potion, so checks out), and after the Diffindo challenge (when you visit her here). She has the lines from where you met her in the library, though, including saying she needs to study or look for an important book, in addition to the line about being careful with wizard dueling and the generic “How are you doing, Harry?” line.
You should do more Harry Potter episodes. I am watching your channel entire christmas and new year already. :)))
Stiil amazed how awesome Library is.
And a BIG thanks to my new Patreon, BlanketFox! Thank you so much for your support!

8:58 - ACK! BLAST IT, POTTER! I'LL GET YOU! 😂😂😂
Would have expected a visit to the bean bonus room, since the first two times we were there was just after learning a new spell
In 35 minutes, you will get the 3rd visit into the Bean Bonus Room ;)
Comment for the algorithm
9:10 Are you sure she isnʼt? Iʼm sure I spoke to her in the bathroom at this point and I hadnʼt heard of the extended mod until your playthrough.

Considering how racist those wizards are, getting that wizard from wizard card a first Merlin was great!
