What a great series! I was so lucky to have been to the Tate just after it opened, what a magnificent structure and I had no idea the link to such an illustrious architectural family. Wonderful!

Thanks for the documentary. It is wonderful! I have never been to London, but when I go there I will be sensitive about gothic details of its architecture. It is very important to combine the past and the present in modern buildings. The continuity line is essential.

Thanks so much for uploading this. Some truly beautiful buildings and very entertaining too. I'm not even a fan of the whole industrial-utilitarian modernist thing and even I like the powerhouses (the details are awesome).
It's sad that Scott Jr. had his own architectural legacy cut short, but strangely the son who had barely known his father ended up continuing his stylistic revolution in architecture. It's a wonderful thing when old buildings get repurposed and revitalised.

I also have sympathy for Middle Scott. Being his cousin 4 times removed I can assume that his branch of the family shared the same prides and prejudices as mine. This documentary told a story with a very familiar flavour to it.
