These Highlander decks are actually really cool for me since I have all the early game cards I need in all of the classes but only have like 1 or two of a BUNCH of late game cards! I’ll be playing a ton of this and the versions with Rose/Wall-Knight too! :)
Adding on to the discussion about how this strategy isn't just a meme: one think we need to make sure is that all the top-end of our deck actually are all high-value. If we get to a point where we're running bad cards instead of multiple copies of a good one, we should probably cut the bad cards. However, since there are so many high-quality units in this game (especially when teleported with our 8 teleports), you can afford to run a variety of topend for the high amount of flexibility!
I wonder what fry thinks of Popcaps strategy decks now that he discovered this new genre of deckbuilding.

Fry I have a 1000 iq concept. Have someone (who knows PVZ heroes) log on to your account and create a bunch of decks. Then you play these decks WITHOUT looking at them first (so you figure it out as you go along). GL!

Challenge Idea: You have to win a game dealing damage only with star fruit. You can ramp up to it, have card to chump block, bonus attacks, buff the star fruit, environments. Bottom line is, all 20 damage has to be dealt by starfruit whether its OTK, multiple star fruits on the field etc
fry didnt you consider to play another card game like yu-gi-oh or hearthstone ? (not that pvzh is bad i still want this to be the permanent content cause i love this the most) but love to see you play that game

Really kool concept, maybe run two copies of late game instead of just one. For a tiny bit more consistency? I really like this idea though, as cards like Mechasaur are some of my favorites.

I feel like the advantage for this is mostly for newer players that don’t have many copies of rarer cards. A strategy like this is a viable one for them since they’ll have sparse amounts of said cards . Plus, it just looks like a fun, and more importantly, different way to play. Variety!
