    Dude, that 2 for 1 trick was an absolute BANGER!!! I'm definitely taking that one to work tomorrow 😂😂😂. Thanks! You're doing the best tutorials on TH-cam right now, and that's including the man himself, Mr. Daniel Madison. His tricks are awesome, but impossible for the average person. Like who tf can palm an open wallet in front of a spectator besides Danny Maddy? Lol. Keep it up, Sean! You're killing it!

    I love all this Sean! I really don't know why many magician's leave the self working stuff on the side lines at a certain point, magic is for the spectator, they don't care if a perfect pass was done in fact they won't even know soooo yea that's my rant - self working = good 😅

    I was really into card tricks when I was younger, and I just got back into it. The channels I followed back then were 52kards, disturbreality, mismag, judsongreenmagic, therussiangenius and some random people who would just post good tutorials. Some of the channels I'm just discovering are so obnoxious because they talk too much without really doing anything, all about production value and flare but very little content (a reflection of this generation and social media, like how a powerpoint looks is more important than the actual content). A 15 minute video where they talk for 14 minutes with 1 minute of quality content, or have vocabulary so limited that they keep saying "just like this" so many times that it becomes noticeable and annoying (do it just like this, false shuffle just like this, do a card control just like this, get a pinky break just like this). But with your videos, everything is straight to the point. Good content that doesn't need production value.

    You must do me a solid & let me have a look at your library behind you. I'm in awe everytime I see your collection. I love books & would love to build a collection of card magic books but I have found them difficult to find in some cases & in others very expensive. I now have Card academy on my bookshelf down to you & I wanna expand. If you'd consider an episode featuring your collection I'd be very happy!

    Kaps force card trick is really good except maybe you need a reason for taking that card to the bottom like for example say it’s a search card that scans the deck from the bottom up or changes the deck order magically

    I absolutely love your channel and consider it a gift. If my input means anything I'd love to hear you ax the term "spectator" & employ "participant" in its place... its a small detail with a big impact helping people feel more engaged... even if only watching the audience feels more involved in the magic... keep up the good work, much ❤

    • @SeanDevine
      @SeanDevine  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're totally right!! I think "participant" would be better in books as well. Heck, in some really old books, some magicians would use the word "victim". Whenever I come across said books, it really annoys me and honestly I stop reading the book.

      @@SeanDevine right on Sean! The main thing I like about you is that you're in it for all the right reasons...of course that's just my opinion🤷

    Excellent tutorials with attribution, which is much appreciated.
    However all these techniques are counting/procedure heavy, and more the sort of thing I would expect card magic enthusiasts to show one another at club meetings.
    The attention span of the average layman is extremely short these days and holding their interest and enthusiasm with these sorts of techniques is problematic. Most of these techniques were developed for the pre-digital age audience.
    Do you actually use any of these forces at paying gigs on a regular basis? Aside from the classic force, the cut deeper force and the crosscut force, what other forces do you find useful?
    Thank you!

    3:08 Instead of this you could also use a deck with 51 cards, that way nothing "fishy" has to happen during the routine.
