She is working as a creative designer in ok tested. That's her profession. And if she cnt open her own firm/boutique obviously she will go for private firms/offices as govt or cooperate office doesn't have much scope for them. I am an architect or a designer student I totally understand and its logical she choose ok tested.

Folds in Saree... what my mom do is when ever she rearrange her wardrobe she reverse folds the Saree from where it was previously folded... So the crease get reverses and the Saree becomes wearable in a couple of days...
Now with Akansha's Saree I can't say that technique will work or not for it is very old Saree... untouched for years...
I do think expensive handloom silks must be folded, unfolded n refolded in regular intervals the way Priyanka says here n may be sometimes should be brought out to be aired (if u know what i mean). Trust me we learnt it the hard way. My Maa's wedding banarasi n reception banarasi both got destroyed when we once accidentally found that the it had started tearing right at the folds. We hadn't bought it out for as long as i remember as they were heavy pieces n may be Maa never found an occassion to wear it again anywhere. I loved those two so dearly....green colored n so rare. Now however we may search we hv yet to come accross a similar print n design. Please treasure ur silks. The quality of the silks is also going downhill these days IMO n in some couple years we may never get to see such intricate pieces anymore.

This will definitely work... But as Priyanka has mentioned, your mom's Saree has been untouched for years now... So just open it up once and spread it on a bed or something for a couple of hours and then fold in the opposite direction... My mom takes time to refold her wedding Saree, reception saree and the Saree she bought for her sister's wedding, once in every 6-7 months...

You just nailed all the saree looks. I mean, everyone these days wears western clothes and one determines what looks good on them. But traditional clothes I feel can't be broken down in different shapes, like sarees being very beautiful rectangular 22 yard cloths. But the way you styled them just caught my eyes. Loved the idea of big chunky jewellery, totally going to buy some sometime. I also, love your boots and the diversity of full length bottoms you have. Very nice and compact wardrobe. Nothing less can be expected from a NIFT alumnus. Your final year project clothes were just amazing, so creative, so different and diverse. Amazing taste
People comparing Akansha and Tenzing who is more real or shows nautanki comparing their clothes choice collection. Well let me tell you they are very different person. Akansha is married and obviously older than tenzing. Tenzing is still 21 she is in youth phase. Enjoying her immature life now. Where real or chordo kind of attitude will grow late. Akansha has taken life easy now she chills with whatever comes her way. So comparing them makes no sense. And for clothing I believe in 'less quantity more quality'. That shows class or standard according to me.
I don't think you have understood the message. If Aakansha can create such attractive outfits on a low budget and by hustling through the crowded markets of Sarojini Nagar then imagine how good her choices will be if she got her hands on the expensive ones. She will definitely end up creating a better look. And Tenzing definitely doesn't represent the entire youth, a lot of youth are now into sustainable fashion and being brand obsessed like Tenzing isn't good. Plus thrifting or shopping cheap clothes should be made more accepting. It is sometimes worth the splurge but not always. Even when you check out the Vogue/Harper's Baazar models you'll see how most of them are into vintage shopping and they're not necessarily always expensive. Fashion should be unique to you and not just brand obsessed.
@@starskater_ well it's her choice. Every one has our own way of dressing. M not saying Akansha has bad choice. No. But being a fashion designer obviously they won't prefer much of other brands. Its her profession to alter any cheap/inexpensive ones and create it into her own style. You just cnt compare a professional designer and a mere young youth. I am a designer myself I know how designers work.
Though tenzing's wardrobe was good but I personally feel that akansha's wardrobe is better 😄❤

Just open the saree and fold in some other way so the folds/ crease don’t fall on the same place as the old one. As old fold are prone to tear.

I am so glad that you talked about sustainable clothing. You said that you thrift and that is actually always better than buying anything new (even from sustainable brand), first you do not use extra resources and that means less stuff and 2nd you save clothes from going to landfill.
