I hand painted my chassis same color with rustoleum and a brush. Turned out really good and doesn’t peel from pressure washer. Also you don’t get all the over spray on everything in the shop
@@millertimemotorsports2844 how did the paint hold up after being on the track I have a mastersbilt late model it still has original black on it that looks like garbage I thought about painting mine like a battleship gray or blue but everyone keeps telling me to go with powdercoat instead for dirt track chassis problem is I can't drive 3 hours to the nearest powder coating place I don't have time so I'm really wanting to know if just the straight paint works before I make a 3 hour drive on my day off lol
Finally got mine to running right! Think you are right about green being bad for luck! Lol I hate it bc green is my favorite color! But I'm going blueish grey like a fighter jet when I buil my Camaro next year! Hope we can both have success in next season!!

@@millertimemotorsports2844 About 3/4 season when rotating we got 8 races in the books without rotating. That’s all we raced this season and they still have plenty of tread no chunks or anything noticeable. If you take care of them you can get a entire season. And that’s with no bead locks. We run entrada ecotouring 225/70/15

I painted mine outside in the cold... looked like 💩

Paint the fire walls and floor blue too. Youll be glad you did. Itll look good.

We can run both but everybody only runs Hoosiers. How long do the DOT’s normally last??

That’s crazy. I wish we did that.. $135 a tire and a right rear barely last 2 nights! Then the left rear is quick to follow!
