- Meri Brown is not happy with Christine. On the 'Sister Wives’ one-on-one special, her former sister wife revealed Kody melted down Meri's wedding ring so Meri didn't have 'claim' over him anymore. But after the special was taped, Meri discovered that Christine shared this story without her consent and returned to the couch to emotionally give her side of the story. Part two of the one-on-one special of 'Sister Wives' aired Sunday on TLC. Part three will air next week.

Meri's Catfish wrote a book and mentioned the ring being melted down. That's probably why Meri is upset that Christine said it out loud. In a way, it validates the words written by the Catfish. Meri should realize that she doesn't have control of every "story" that happens in her life because other people are involved. The stories are theirs to tell as well. She seems to want ownership of all information about her, and it just doesn't work like that. That information has been public for years. This doesn't make Meri look bad, this makes Kody look even worse. I understand she feels angry and shameful, but Kody melting her ring spoke volumes about him and how he was a cruel and neglectful spouse. It doesn't mean Meri deserved it.
I'm guessing Meri was angry because Christine said it on tv and then Meri was questioned about it when she Meri had never spoken about it, It was Her story to tell if she ever wanted to tell it. I'm sure Christine would have been upset if Meri brought up that Kody thought Christine was unattractive and ate like a pig. not that we agree with him but its not the thing you expect other sister wives to talk about and laugh about.

She didn't want the whole world to know the story. I would assume they had discussed that since it had never been told on the show before. I know I have things in my past that are very hurtful, and if someone had shared them with the world, without me even having a chance to prepare that everyone was going to be discussing and dissecting it, I would be upset too.

Meri has no right To be mad. First off if she should be mad at anyone it should be Kody!!! Then maybe herself. Meri had no problem discussing with Robyn with any issues she had with Christine at any time. she was very condescending to Christine on a few occasions throughout the last few seasons. I like Christine and am glad she left, but it does come across that she's angry/resentful towards Kody for never loving her the way she wanted. Janelle tends to say her piece abt her experience and keep it pretty neutral but Christine goes in at every opportunity. Meri definitely should have moved on long ago though.

I’ve heard many people (creators & consumers alike) call this a “Tell Nothing” now that Christine has actually TOLD ALL of the story, people are mad? Please, MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. If anything, Meri was just afforded a story arch for Season 19 in the nick of time, because I’ve also heard the some of the same group of characters say they aren’t interested in Meri’s friendship with Jen or her redo of her carriage house. Either way, next season needs to be the last, ‘cause I can see how things could go left for the entire family if too many more HORRIFIC details are exposed.

I believe Meri had every right to be angry with Christine. Just because she is angry with her doesn't mean she hates her it just means she is angry. I admire Meris calmness in it all as i wouldn't be that calm. No matter how many times that woman gets knocked down she gets back up and keeps going, so inspiring. She has and inner strength and strong beliefs that keep her grounded. I like Christine but it wasn't her place to tell on tv when Meri had not told the back story. I was rooting this whole time for both Christine & Janelle but I totally agree with Meri on personal stories being shared about one another.
