This is gonna be unpopular but oh well 🤷 I'm disappointed in AD, I feel he owed us one more season before retiring.. (The Rams took care of AD and gave him everything he asked for).. He could of gave the franchise and fanbase one more season, especially when the Rams drafted Verse and Fiske.. Anyway, I love AD and appreciate the dominance he gave us!!! Go Rams!!!

I have to disagree with you! An edge player's responsibility is to guard the edge. @2:25 Verse gets caught inside to many times and smart OC will and do expose this.
That wasn’t his assignment on that play. He did exactly what he was supposed to do and 37 just got stonewalled. Every DE loses contain sometimes, Verse is still gonna be a superstar
They were sliding protection his way, i think he did well against Darrishaw! You have a point about getting caught inside too often and coordinators taking advantage of this in the future.. But I think Verse already read the play and knew they weren't coming around the edge.. We shall see... But he has been great as a rookie regardless!!

while darrisaw was playing the vikings ran the ball opposite of verse and had a lot of success. ended up with a lot of 2nd and short, 3rd and short… made it harder to pass rush, once the rams stopped the run, verse was killing everyone on pass downs
