They all run tight. I have the mini in navy and the short in emerald. They are hard to get on.

I ended up returning mine and getting a new pair. You're right. They were the same - really tight around the ankle but oddly enough only on the left boot. So, I sent those back too. I have found that Uggs with "special hair" run smaller or tighter than others. ☹️
