- Hi all. Here is a short video filmed back in Summer 2015. This time it's of Ryanair only 737-700 circuit bashing. This 737 is used for training and as a backup aircraft. As of April 2016 it is now in a 60 VIP configuration. This video isn't my best, a few practice shots and trying some things with panning etc. I hope you all enjoy this video.

AS is the code for Boeing 737 aircraft made for Ryanair.

I'm surprised they performed a left had circuit. The 737-7 is used as a business aircraft I believe and for base training.
Thanks for Watching. All that is correct, however it is not unusual for a 737 to use the left hand circuit, especially at Prestwick.

Amazing! Didn't know RYR had a 700! It looks cute. Any idea what the flap setting is for the touch and go? I'm guessing 15, but if anyone knows. Also do you reckon they're doing ILS approaches or visuals?
Thanks for Watching, they have had it for a year or so now, before that it was parked up at Shannon for a few years at least.
it's usually flap 15 for departure wehn doing touch and go's, landing flap depends on the runway length as normal. usually when 737's do touch and go's they use the 22k engine derate with an assumed temperature of 60 degrees too, usually amounts to around 85% N1.
The 700 is used exclusively for base training though isn't it. They don't use it to operate flights with passengers.

Adam Wallace Flap 15 departure? So what's the flap setting for landing? I always assumed it was flap 5 take-off & flap 15 landing, I thought it was SOP for Ryanair to have a flap 5 take-off.
I cant tell the different the 737-800 and 737-700 whats the difference between them...
700 has a shorter fusolage and different engines

Yes I am aware they own several A320s operated by their Austrian subsidiary Laudamotion GMBH.
Now Lauda Europe is Maltese, and they own a few Learjets
