I've been learning how Flutter works since May last year so I could build a special todo app. I'm done with pretty much everything up to this point but I still need to figure out how I could get the notifications to work to increase the value of the app itself. From what I've learned, it's unlikely that I'll be making another app on my own like it considering the amount of frustration and time it took.

For anyone having a Null pointer java error while showing a notification you need to change the NotificationsPlugin.show(id, title, body, NotificationDetails()); to a lowercase notificationDetails() as that is the object we created, NotificationDetails() is but a type!!!! Also dont forget to change the _isInitialized variable to True when after you initialize!!!
how to handle scheduled notification, because when I try in android it ask some extra permission which navigate to system page and ask user to turn on, then only it work. Local scheduled notification.

Coding generally helps me relax but right now havent been able to make time for it. Coding has gotten replaced with Manwhas for now which i wanna change back!!!. Love your videos btw!!!
i have an issue, the app won't show the popup for permission, i tried on android emulator and on my android phone, i checked the permission and it was not granted (i checked using a plugin that sees the permissions and on my actual phone), i tried to make the main async, and added await before notification initial, any help?
You didn't pull down the notification shade... I assume the notifications are all stacked in there as well? I'm wanting to create a notification that doesn't pop up but instead silently goes into the notification drawer, and shows an updated stream of data. Imagine a timer (like countdown or stopwatch) notification in the notification shade where you can see the current timer time, with a pause/play button. A more advanced tutorial for this would be fantastic! :)

Useless! The point of notifications is to grap user attention when he's not running the app. You could show your Ritualz reminding user to go back after a few days of inactivity or something like that.

In the MacOS computer i will test app in the android system ( emulator ) and config for aboth system ?
