Appreciate this Tom - watched last minute advice before I sat the paper and your ethics talking points really came through. Thanks for posting your videos onto TH-cam for all to see.
Sir you are the teacher of accounting throughout my life. Update my knowladge every day due to u tube vedios. Your faviorite topics such as deffered tax cannot ever be forget since the yea😮1992.
The sale and leaseback 25 marker was really hard to keep writing about without repeating yourself. I was so upset pensions didn’t come up for me. Hoping for the best 🤞🏻 Your podcasts really helped so thank you!
Your videos really helped with my preparation. I found the paper manageable, and I did not expect a standard question for number 4. I am hoping for the best.
I had the cash flows - segmented reporting - expected credit losses - sale and lease back exam 1a) 14 marks for amending statements of cash flows 1b) 10 marks explaining the adjustments you made I just described the adjustment workings I made in part a?
Q1 14 marks adjust the cashflow 10 marks explain the adjustments 6 marks explain the presentation of financial instruments, bank loan and overdraft in cashflow statement Q2 10 + 2 marks ethics 8 marks segment reporting Q3 8 marks credit impaired financial asset ?? Marks Revenue recognition ?? Foreign exchange in individual and consolidated financial statements Q4 9 marks sale and leaseback explanations 7 marks sale and leaseback scenario 7 + 2 marks sale and leaseback compare the options, impact on financial statements and KPIs I did Q2, Q3, Q4, then Q1 in the last hour. I felt good until Q1, disappointed at cash flow :( it's the one I knew the least. I learnt sale and leaseback really well so was happy with that. Answered all parts of the exam but I don't think I passed Q1 :( I hope it balances out overall.
Sir can we get a video regarding time management on 30Marks group accounts there seems to be very little time after trying two questions, i was not able to completely answer them either Net assets calculation was wrong in the time mgmt
Interesting - I will be addressing this is the ACCA insight live session next week - what I would say is to get faster needs practice - little room for a short cut .... AND perfection is over rated
@@tomclendonaccasbronlinelec7226 Despite my low expectations, I passed the exam with a pretty great score. I just want to express my gratitude for your free tips. I believe that they helped me a lot!

Dear Sir , are you talking about UK version?
Think it's international
The international version - the UK version touched on intangibles I believe and also revenue
Aah wasted a lot of time in electric car question 😢 just could not finish it
Lets hope you did enough in the rest of the exam
Jmo
Just move on....
the sale and lease back question dragged me to the bottom🥲
Oh mann😅
I quite liked the sound of it - with an impact on KPIs as well - but I guess it comes at you at Q4 when you are tired and short of time
