Frank Warren was a class act in his Win of this 5v5 tournament and really demonstrated a level of humbleness that Hearn needed to digest

Nobody seems to remember but back in August 2020, just after lockdown, Frank Warren proposed 11 fights to Matchroom. 11 amazing fights that he had a poster made an all. Queensbury were struggling post-lockdown, they didnt have the luxury of owning a mansion where they could stage outdoor fights (Fight Camp) and when asked about working with Queensbury, Barry Hearn’s response was ‘We have significant contracts and site fees around the world, we’re no. 1, other promoters need a helping hand but we’re with Sky, so its goodbye BT’.
Hats off to Frank for opening the door for Matchroom to work with Turki in Saudi. He didn’t have to do that. Obviously, money ultimately convinced both of them to work together but Frank made these things happen when he could have made it very difficult. Some would argue that he should have.
I’m a Matchroom / Eddie Hearn fanboy, but I’m absolutely delighted he beat Matchroom. What Eddie knows about boxing, Franks already forgotten.
Frank made that offer out of desperation - he had fighters avoiding Hearn for years prior
Eddie is great. I think he's brilliant to watch in an interview. Brings knowledge, wisdom, and comedic value. For me, he and Peter Fury are my favourite to watch!

It's not the same but I would definitely say he was slightly gun shy for a while in a sense that he wouldn't over commit to hit shots incase he got caught like he did with ruiz he was holding back you can watch his fights after ruiz and see this but his last couple of fights have definitely been confidence builders
Eddie's a character 😂 that's my guy. I like him in boxing. In addition, as of yet I haven't heard no boxers speaking ill of him in reference to money and business. That's a plus in this sport.

@@mizanuddin7879 I would say 2nd fight. Fury really punished Wilder and I think that fight shouldn’t have lasted as long as it did. Wilder suffered a lot and came back to the 3rd and was on fumes and still found a knockdown but was a shadow of himself.
It’s easy to forget how many careers Wilder ended. People only know the ones that make it to the top or sometimes the ones that get a shot at a belt…. But first they have to get there and Wilder actually KO’ed like 99% of them on his way up.

Choosing Wilder as cap was stoopid but seeing that they all lost, it really didn't make a difference in the whole scheme of things. Every fight was real entertaining, a good 50/50 match up and definitely one of the best boxing events I've ever seen. Keep em coming please!!!
Loved the 5 v 5. Definitely need to see more of them. Top Rank and Golden Boy definitely need to get involved in it, and until they do Oscar's opinion, it doesn't mean shit. As for what's next, maybe AJ vs Zhang and Parker vs Dubois would be the best fights to make for Wembley.
