other packages run easily but when i use beamer messsage will be this

The download of miktex is taking up almost a full day. Is tat normal or is something wrong with what m downloading??? Should I wait it to complete or is there anything I should do???

Miktex is the compiler. You need to download both and follow the procedure described in the video. Once complete, you will write code in texmaker.

Great explanation, thanks a lot! I have one question though: If I save my document, it always saves the document as multiple different formats (.pdf , .aux , .gz , etc.). Can I somehow set this up, so it only saves it as a .pdf file?

Each one is separate. Latex is a language, miktex is compiler and texmaker is an editor to write latex code.

Sir, I followed the procedure according to the video lecture of you. But when I compile in Texmaker I got the following error message
"Log File not found"! What is going wrong? Would you please help. Also the link which you have given, contains a MikTex version which is different from your version. It is not MikTex 2.9. Please suggest some idea.
Close texmaker and reopen by right clicking and running as administrator. If you still get the same error, check you environment variables in configuration. If it is difficult for you to check environment variables, try re installing both miktex and tex maker latest versions. Hope it helps

That's strange, try re installing both softwares again. Download latest versions of each.
Sir, I have successfully installed it and it is fine now. I have download it from www.tug.org/protext/ or we can download it from www.tug.org/texlive/

Yes it does. No need to specify

hello sir i am getting an error after clicking on run button:-Could not start the command.
pdflatex -synctex=1 -interaction=nonstopmode %.tex
Try changing your editor settings. Use tex to pdf option.
You can find it in the drop down list, next to run button, if you are using texmaker

Please help me, when I save the TEX file in a folder, and compile to pdf, it gives the error, file not found
There must be some problem in your latex file as it is not generating pdf file. Due to this reason, file not found is shown. Tell me which editor are you using?

sir, why is my texmaker not opening?? i tried clicking it a bunch of times after installation but it just wont open
Oh sad to know this. There might be some issue with the installation. Give it a retry and the open using administrator

That must be some problem with your windows or may be the it is not installed properly. Give it a re try

I got the error like this when I run the program...could not start the command. Pdflatex-synctex=1-interaction=nonstopmode%.tex
This has nothing to do with the installation. Choose pdf option from the build options in texmaker before running your program. Hope it helps

the problem is you have to update MiKTeX first then compile the file

@@fortx4381 try uninstalling both the softwares and reinstall miktex first then update miktex and then install texmaker, I am not 100% sure that this will work out for you, mine worked fine.
