@@vanellevalcy5319 Thank you for watching 💕I had to start listening to my hair because the mainstream advice was not working at all for me. I hope my journey helps you!

2:00 AGREEE!!! 4C hair is WAY too Coily, low density, and fine. And the way I see it, my hair will never be perfectly detangled 😂. No matter how many times I take that brush or comb through my hair, it will tangle up a couple of minutes.
5:11 I never followed that trend. I side eyed this entire trend from its inception to its cancellation 😂
8:10 yep! I agree with this too. I never felt right with my hair feeling wet all the time. Or the need for it to FEEL moisturized. Moisturized hair actually feels dry to the touch but it’s still malleable and soft.
Great vid! I agree with all your points.
9:55 the thing with wash n gos, to make them work for you, to minimize knots, is you have to reset them 2-3 days. If you go longer, that’s what happens.

@@CoilyCode Thanks for watching 💕I actually filmed this a while ago, so this was before the no oils and butter thing started really falling apart 😂 At this point in my journey some things are just a hard no.

You want your 4c hair to be slightly damp when you detangle. Never detangle on dry hair. Add some type of moisturizer to it first.
