How awesome is it to know that these please will never be commercialised. No big apartment buildings. No freeways. Australia is lucky to have these places. And that Stingray, great footage.
It's the drone footage that really puts all of this in perspective gents. This is such a unique part of the world and it really does kind of blow my mind. I can only imagine how it is on the ground. Keep it coming gentlemen.
It puts it into perspective for us on a daily basis too Teddy. Flying the drone each morning to get a lay of the land and river and just to get that feeling of just how remote we are.
That stingray at 20:34 brings back some good memories. I remember watching in awe in the Gulf as stingrays would leap out of the water onto muddy banks chasing mud skippers, then slide down the mud back into the water ready for their next launch.
Another classic!! Can't say it enough Nath, your channel is outstanding and the filming is awesome!! Love the drone footage and the music is great!! As always keep up the great work and stay safe

Love the authenticity Nath. Cool that you and your team love the basic approach of living off the land too. Thanks for what you bring into our lounge rooms, I think I'd rather being doing it though, very cool good on you!! PS: Would you be able to advise on the colour and size preference you have with your slim twichers? I feel they're are your go to lures more often than not. Cheers 🍻🎣🐊🕶
You’re welcome mate, so glad to hear you’re enjoying it and the show is coming across the way I want it to! Yes, I love both sizes, 110 and 125mm and my go to colour is the fire tiger, they’re a brilliant lure but the trebles aren’t the best if your chasing 80cm plus fish. They’ll get the job done but won’t last 2 fish.
Loved this chaps brilliant drone work, loved the music Nath. Well I have an issue this week with you guys, I purchased a crab from the fishmonger put it down the back of the sofa in a hole for Cheryl to find, she was not impressed!. She found a new hole and the claws are scrapping my underpants!! not good 🤨, but still living the dream.🤣 From "Just out of Reach" UK. We are planning our trip to Queensland at the moment....Take care!
This episode I loved the music and the drone footage. Also Made me have to ask if the drain systems are natural? The winding rivers are they natural? If so how amazing! Also the work to get a mud crab woof! Hats off to you both. I’d also say you guys could sell soundscapes and or live wall papers just on the beauty you’ve caught. Cheers guys! Just all so rad
They sure are natural mate, Wild hey? Flat country and a lot of water in the wet season for 1000’s or millions of years. It’s so amazing to be submerged in such an ancient landscape. Thanks for being a part of it mate
Have you seen how digging crabs out destroys where they live? Wondering as the big tides in the Kimberleys move so much water it washes the banks where the holes are after you dig a crab out. Destabilises the mud.
I’ll look into it mate, but no I can’t imagine it would. We’re digging them out to eat them anyway tho? Once we realised 4 were female we gave up and left the rest
