Calli: It has to be that way.
I see why the subtitles in this video are electrifying today...
Then advent shows up and cook pineapple pizza 🤣
All I'm saying is every real Italian I've met and every pizzeria i was in while in Italy had and enjoyed pineapple pizzas. They didn't even know it was a controversy
Italian here, when shes not joking and playing up the accent for laughs, her pronunciations is actually not bad, id love if Raora tought dad some italian
Papa Reaper: "Imposterini!"
Don't scrapa da pizza Calli.
Making pizza dough is difficult? Calli, I am disappointed in you.
Yeah I was like... what do they not have flour, salt, water, and yeast in Japan? Making pizza dough is easy!
@@silverwolfe3636 Not only that but like there are actual genuine masters acknowledged by the best food critics for having some of the best Neapolitan pizzas in Japan
Just a reminder that its rumored that Yagoo has an actual stone pizza oven in his house.

damn this guy get more wonderfull at each news i hear of him
"Giorno giovanna... that's not italian, that's jojo!"
...well, it's much more italian than "spicy meatball" lmao
Pizza dough? You mean yeast, flour and water?
@@Lewisking50 honestly, yeah. start the dough a few days early and let it rest and age in the fridge for a few days
Yeah, it's like the easiest thing in existence.
4 ingredients
mix
wait
Pizza Dough
Yeah… think she’s just worried that the dough might not hold properly, and is shaped weird. But that’s why Raora is there!
Raora: look what she has to do to mimic a fraction of our power
they will make a pepeloni pizza and throw away the pepeloni. so it's just cheese 😂
so IIRC Calli's lore, Papa Reaper is Calli's biological dad that has long since divorced Mama Mori (on cordial terms more or less), whereas Papa Mori is Calli's stepdad and dad that stepped up
So even tho Calli is half Italian, she hasn't had much chance to be exposed to Italian heritage
RAORA THIS IS YOUR TIME, AWAKEN HER CARBONARA POWERS!
ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARIVEDERCI 😎
Very cool and nice Italian accent from Calli 😎✨
Well, I have a friend who is half-Chinese, can speak 4 languages but Mandarin isn't one of them...
"Kronii doesn't care"
Accurate. When she learned Waowa Mamma was watching her memey Italian accent (mostly listing Italian dishes) she hesitated all of two seconds or so before _doubling down_ like a proper memelord...

Call-Italy :^)
To be honest, pizza dough is not that hard to make but it does take time.
Scrape off the top of a pizza 😂😂😂
To be fair have you ever had Japanese pizza? I would rather eat the just the dough than some of the things they put on it 😂
Scraping off the top of the pizza? The pepeloni?
hmmm kaela said she and biboo will have off collab on 12th iirc, will they hold big off collab event on that day?
I’m not even in Japan but I make pizza like Calli. Onions, tomatoes, olives, and mushrooms thrown in top of premade Cheese pizza comes out 99% like store bought
ingredients: flour, yeast, water, salt, sugar, oil, dried herbs (optional)
To proof yeast, mix the warm water and 1 teaspoon sugar in a small bowl. Add the active dry yeast and whisk until dissolved. Let stand until the mixture is frothy and bubbles form on the surface.
In a large bowl, whisk 3 cups of the flour with the salt, remaining 1 teaspoon sugar and, if desired, dried herbs. Once combined, make a well in the center of the flour. Add the yeast mixture and oil. Stir until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. The dough has the right amount of flour when it’s soft but not sticky.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface, and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic, six to eight minutes. For a hands-off method, knead the dough with a stand mixer for about three minutes. Add more flour to the surface as needed.
Place the dough in a large greased bowl. Turn the dough once to grease the top. Cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Then, transfer the bowl to the refrigerator. Chill overnight.Allow dough to come to room temperature before rolling.
Dont tell me you cant make this shit and you're gonna use some store bought READY pizzas and scrap the top off. You cant make this up.
Dad is fluent at Jojo afterall xD
Alternately, make a pie crust and go deep dish
My sister in hell it’s water oil flour and yeast
Pizza dough is so easy to make idgi
Maybe calli can ask for help from meilyne aka mom of the trash taste bois for making pizza dough(though afaik meilyne doesnt like pizza). Or if meilyne cant maybe she can help calli hookup with onigiri cause she made pizza on stream few months back with kuro as main collab partner and matara, stranger chan(michi) in the back
Shy pappa is so cute
There's no way you can't get basic flour in japan and some yeast lmao
making a pizza dough is extremely simple
could be something with the flour in asia that makes it tricky. compared to euro / US flour that makes pizza not want to cooperate? very much doubt myself dough
You can definitely get all that, and there's even proper pizza joints that make woodfired oven pizza the problem is they tend to be quite expensive.
Even fast food pizza in Japan is ridiculously expensive and more catered to Japanese peoples' taste.
Bread maker
Let them cook.
Pink women making pizza? Let's go!
now i see why i always felt something weird looking and hearing calli, so she was half italian, it felt oddly familiar
Making pizza dough is not hard…
Italian runs through her veins, not her mouth
I miss. Cooking streams like promise bake off.
Calli gonna get heat from Italians like how she got heat from Mexicans.
Never change Calli
Pink women acookingda PIZza
Pizza dough...it's flour, egg, water, yeast, and a little salt, right? Are all of those things hard to buy in Japan?
Eggs are not needed. It may be a bit difficult to find the right type of flour and yeast readily available, though.
Why would it be hard to make dough in japan? Do they not sell yeast or something?
She's not Italian, she's Jo-talian
JoJo is italian.
Nyoooo not the scraped off pizza! You gotta knead it yourself uooogh italian genes acting up
Rrraorrra
Well to tell you the truth every single time that somebody is talking about giorno Giovanna they are basically saying morning Giovanna.
So yeah it is kinda of an italian word lemao.
Giorno himself is not Italian at all. He's half British, half Japanese
@@TheyCallMeDio i was talking about his name ,not where he came from.
Nope.
It's legible so it's not a problem but giving a low-tier god lightning effect to every line of dialogue in the subtitles feels a little extra. No offense intended, thanks for clip.
May just be memeing on the accidental _it has to be this way_ reference
but giorno giovanna is italian...
For people who keep saying "making pizza dough is easy" no its not. Especially not in Japan, especially not on short notice, especially not if youre not connected in some way to the foodie or cooking world. The water, sure, gotten anywhere. The yeast, little harder especially in a bigger quantity, but not too hard. But the flour?! Sure, you can get a tiny bit of all purpose flour at some stores, but try finding bread flour, which is what you need, in an asian country, in a decent enough quantity, on short notice. Its not that easy, and even then, handling and making a pizza crust is not that simple. If you want them to just half ass it and use pillsbury grands tubes, whatever, but lets not pretend that making pizza dough is super simple in Japan out of nowhere.
Pizza dough is very easy to make, that's the whole point. Unless you don't have acces to wheat flour. You can use other flours but without gluten then it's harder.
Wait, she's half Italian, right?! Her dad is Italian?! I thought she was Canadian Texan. Im confused right now. Can someone who knows better, clarity, or comfirm for me?
Pretty sure she has mentioned having Polish grandparents. Never heard anything about Canada. Her dad might be 2nd generation immigrant from Italy or something along those lines.
@fulviomercoli7048 American "I'm Italian American" Oh were from "Sicily i think" oh when was that "1886" Vai a quel paese Idiota!
@fulviomercoli7048 When Americans say "I'm a (blank)" we really mean "we are of (blank) descent". Our ancestral languages get lost very quickly unless if there is a heavy emphasis by the parents to pass them on. Many cannot speak their parent's language, and most can't speak their grandparent's language.
@@Qwarkeh Yeah like my grandparents are from Germany, so technically I am a third generation German immigrant. Ethnically I'm like 75% German and have an extremely German last name. But I have never been to Germany and I speak exactly zero German (I'd like to learn it, but too busy studying Japanese). The extent of my German-ness is that I eat more German food than the average American and that's pretty much it. That's just what happens when your country is made up of generations of immigrants.
So wait is Cali still living in Japan? I thought she moved back to America
Pizza dough is made with common ingredients, what is she talking about? It is simpler thank a cake, the only "downside" is the rising time that takes a lot, but that's another issue.
Calli's Italian looks very "JOJO" 🗿
*"DI MOLTO"*
Every bit of Italian she knows comes from Jojo's I'm not joking
